I understand that bans are not up for discussion, but I've been playing this game for over 4 years now and recently switched to PC, today I boot up my PC and launch Destiny 2 only to find I've been banned. Kind of disappointing.

9 Respuestas
Literally got banned for no reason
This quote may come back to bite and leave you looking very silly as others have found out today. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or are caught cheating. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not respond or remove this restriction/ban. On the very rare occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. You got banned on August 20 or so when bungie found a program threatening the world of Destiny 2 and it's players.

3 RespuestasTypically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
