You need to stop complaining. Skill based is the best thing to happen to PvP in a LOOOONNGGGGG time bud. Every game I play in just makes me a better player and forces me into engagements that I wouldn’t normally be comfortable doing. I think it works like a charm and every game actually feels like a game now. Comp is incredible too and much more enjoyable, especially the new solo mode. Stop complaining and just get better. This game needs less complaining man up.

it may be good for you but for other people like myself who are above average but get outplayed by latency is the issue, so saying get better is saying that we need to learn to fight latency itself which is damn near impossible.

You like it because it's catered to you and gives you a safe space in trial by fire combat where you can learn as slow as a turtle while everyone else gets screwed over because the system throws them back and forth like crazy.

Sbmm is the best thing ever for sweats and new lights. Average players and above average players are caught in the crossfire. I’m no cammycakes or Brose or anyone, but I can still hold my own. The problem is with the actual matchmaking. I constantly get caught in a loop where I play super well bc the enemies are bots, so it match makes me with super sweats I can’t compete with, and so I go on a win loss win loss streak and go negative bc I lose 150 on loss and gain 45-50 on win. All I wanted was to get to legend and I was so close and I got hit with the super sweat

I don't know about avg players being stuck like you said. I would describe myself as a very average PvP player and I solo'd to 5500 in about 7 hours play give or take.

My only problem with it is the team balancing of those players once the game starts.

Yeah team balancing is the biggest issue. I really dont know what the factor for the team selection is but it is clearly working badly.

Sbmm is garbage, noobs arent entitled to protection because they cant compet and good players should be incentivized for being so not separated into seperate que so lower player get a safe space

If I match everyone and come out on top most of the time I'm better then most. Wheras under sbmm if you're bad you are matched only vs other trash and fall under the illusion that youre as good as anyone else - when in reality you are garbage compared to most players. Sbmm - the illusion you're average and a safe space for players that cant compete with anyone they match and need special treatment. Also there is no "little guy" every player has the same health and deal the same damage

First - CBMM does not prove you are good. It proves you are near people you can beat. Way different. Second - I have no illusions about being anything but a trash player. But... I wouldn’t set foot in comp before and now I do because I can be sure the contest is more fair. Third - most of the players complaining so far seem to be top-tier players who suddenly are faced with having to struggle to play. Well welcome to “our” world. You don’t want to constantly play people on your level, so the better idea seems to be making players like me play players on your level. Sound about right?
