What about hunters?
If warlocks have handheld supernova and titans have shoulder charge what about hunters? Hunters melee and grenades are the weakest out of the classes and they have no special abilities like the other two classes. I’d say the hunters took the biggest nerf to the supers also.

People say hunters are fast and nimble so we don’t need a OHK but if we’re honest once that dodge is gone we die just as quickly as titan! That’s saying a lot because titans suck.

I would say that Hunters don’t need a OHKO or super buffed supers, but they should get some mobility buffs. Hunters should be able to run a little bit faster, Titans can usually rival Hunters pretty well in sprint speed, even though Titans are meant to be tankier. Hunter’s dodge, especially the melee dodge one, should be able to avoid more types of damaging and should cancel out a lot of tracking. I have been killed so many times by shoulder charge no matter how hard I try to evade it. Handheld supernova is annoying, but it isn’t too OP. Shoulder charge needs a little bit less tracking or aim-assist, and a hunter’s dodge should be able to let you avoid it at least 50% of the time.

I play all 3 classes but Titan I play most and hunter I play least. But when I do play hunter for a day or 2 strait then switch back to my Titan I'm constantly trying to dodge roll away from everything or to get to cover faster but I can't cuz I don't have that over powered crutch ability any more. Lol. Dodge is such an op ability. It's soooooo much better than shoulder charge or the ohk grenade.

15 RespuestasOk, so think this one through a bit. We have 3 classes. One is the titan, large, imposing guardians, who use brute strength to kill. They clearly should have a OHKO. Warlocks, guardians who master mystical light magic, who use intellect to kill. They have a OHKO, but have to spec into it. Hunters, guardians who use light, nimble mobility and weapon dexterity to kill. No ohko. Why would they get one?

Hunters are kind of the "Jack of all trades, but master of none" class (coming from someone who used to main a hunter...before anyone gets riled up). All of their abilities are decently good at just about everything, but not really any of them are amazing (of course there are exceptions. I'm not saying hunters are bad or useless). Its kind of understandable that if the majority of all your abilities are good, you're not going to have ones that are foe-crushing like a titan or..admittedly handheld supernova, but at least handheld SN comes with a charge time and mobility reduction so it's easier to get killed before you can pull it off.

2 RespuestasOver 2000 elo in Clash, Control & supremacy. I get matched with sweaty's pretty much every match and 9 out of 10 of the sweaty's are Hunters, you know why? Because of their jump/dodge ability, pair that with their shotty's and they're damn right deadly, and of course 👬 as f***.

hunters are meant for gunplay, not any of the grenade/melee crap. recognize your strengths

9 RespuestasTop tree arcstrider with Liar's Handshake is still absolutely hilarious in PVP. Dodge to activate Deadly Reach, and you are literally inescapable because you can just leap on people's backs. Liar's with top-tree allows you to do something no Shoulder Charge can: effortlessly chain together multiple kills. If you can punch somebody one time, you can turn around and oneshot his teammate, dodge to recharge your melee, and hit the first guy again. Every time you get a charged melee kill you stack Combo Blow as well, meaning if you don't have time to dodge you can still keep the pain chain going.

It's not that hunters have weak abilities, it's that they don't have lethal abilities/builds. About everything in their arsenal is a support to combat. Titans and Warlocks have lethal builds and lethal abilities, but a hunter doesn't. That doesn't make hunters weaker though when you think if it. It just requires a different style of playing.

1 RespuestaYou have a dodge maneuver, invisibility, a double jump, decent exotics, smoke grenades, good melee range, [i]ability suppression[/i]... And you're complaining that you don't have a close range one-shot move. This is why a lot of players blame Hunters.

6 RespuestasTempest strike should one hit imo, but as for the "Hunters melee and grenades are the weakest out of the classes" statement you have arc bolt, skip, spike, swam, void wall, vortex these are top tier nades as for melee you have combination blow melee, disorienting blow, and Smoke bombs. "they have no special abilities like the other two classes" Smoke bombs, Dodging, truesight, tracking breaking Dodge, reduced damage while Dodging. spectral blades has the highest damage resistance of all the super while invisible.

Hunters should have had shade step nerfed along with rally barricade and lunafaction boots. Shade step should just make reloading faster.

The only things that maybe should be OHK if balanced right should be Tripmines or bottom tree golden gun throwing knife. That’s it. If they do become OHKs then ophidian spathe would become an issue and young ahamakaras spike would have to be changed to something else.

One, one subclass of one class of Warlock has HHSN. Stop saying it like all the Warlock classes and subclasses have HHSN.

2 RespuestasI’d be fine if they buffed tripmine. By far the worst grenade in D2, it only has one detonation, deals shit damage, and can be easily avoided by anyone with a brain.
