I have completed all the raids so far, I was one week on holiday when this new content came out, so I was a little late to be able to do the raid the first time. I thought it would be alright, most teams ask for experience so after watching a tutorial so I was sure what to do, I jumped in with a new team 3 weeks ago. We got to the 2nd encounter... there the team broke up because too many people didnt have a clue what to do and after explaining it 4 times we kept failing. I tried again a few days later, same result, got to the boss, but took over 6 hours to get there. And many more examples of just blantently incompentent people saying they know and messing up every time again. Its truly depressing to find out how incredibly incompetent most people are in performing the most simple tasks, even remembering what task they are doing is too much to ask for most people, I assigned roles to people many time 4 times in a row coz either people wouldnt speak up, got confused, or decided to say yes to two rolez. Also distinguishing between picking up MOTES or SPIT for the harpy boss seems to be a concept most people have trouble with. I understand fully most lobby's only ask for experienced people with 10 completions, it sucks for the capable people who havent done it yet like me, because we are stuck with ****** (censored myself ;-) Please if you are going to do a raid: 1: If the post says KWTD please KNOW WHAT TO DO! Don't come in there and LIE, this is the reason the community wont allow anyone without completions to join, because 90% of the time you find out they LIE. You are wasting everybody's time and frustrating the team. 2: Have the right weapons and perks! And if you dont know what that is, watch a tutorial. Prepare yourself if you join a lobby that says KWTD, and actually KWTD it will save you HOURS, trust me, or it will save you getting booted. 3: Communicate ! Speak up when needed and BE QUIET when needed, especially the latter is a lot to ask for some people, at certain phases you simply need coms to stay quiet for certain call outs, BE QUIET if you dont do the call out please. 4: When you start a RAID and join one I expect you to be dedicated to the raid for the next at least hour, of course if you get a call or something urgent we understand taking 1 or 2 minutes or for toilet, but after 10 minutes of raiding going away for dinner for 20 minutes is really NOT DONE, if you plan to do this tell you team, and hope they dont kick you. Some raids Ive been waiting more for people to be ready then actually raiding. 5: Dont start an encounter unless EVERYONE is ready, otherwise its simply anoying and costs another wipe. 6: Dont place raid banner unless entire team is in lobby, or people who have not joined yet cant grab the banner wont have enough amo, and you need to wipe again. 7: Have a BRAIN ! Be able to complete simple tasks such as pick up Spit... shoot inner/outer eye. Teather or stay away for teather. 8: Dont call out with I or ME, like " I need HELP" ... unless you are with close friend who know your voice, no one knows who I or ME is. State your GAMER TAG or POSITION you were assigned, IE : Conflux 2 needs a buff 5 seconds left. I sincerly hope this post will help some n00bs to finish a raid, I doubt it though... seems the majority of this community is simple not smart enough to complete simple tasks. If that is you, go to crucible, play your strikes, and please stay away from difficult activities, or ask HONESTLY for a carry, some people will help you. But if you expect to be carried by a team that posts KWTD, expect to get kicked and maybe even insulted, to be honest; YOU FULLY DESERVE IT if you mess up and waste peoples time. Im so tired of trying to complete this GOS raid with ******. I hope I can find a decent team soon and restore some of my hope in humanity, coz at this point I simple cant but conclude that 90% of you are simply too incompetent to do a raid.
