Please let us use the perk combinations we want.
Edit: I understand that this would be a massive undertaking and things would need to be looked at carefully but the new trees have always felt to restrictive to me

3 RespuestasI’m down for skill trees 1.0 - D1 style
-
2 RespuestasNot sure why we call those skill trees.... they are not trees - they are like a branch with a few leaves on them.
-
Yeah remember the skill trees from D1? Just do that again. Much easier to choose what we wanted.
-
give the fans exactly what they want? no that'd be to easy.
-
Bungle: "Making changes is hard - unless we think they are cool and then - well - we'll bang it out untested (as usual) next Tuesday."
-
Technically what we have now is Subclass customization 2.0, it's just that 1.0 was better, which is why we need 1.0.
-
2 RespuestasYou just want devour on top tree don’t you?
-
They won’t cos of pvp people already complain too much half of the game has been nerfed already and that’s with fixed skill trees imagine the chaos if people could pick and choose bits and pieces too how they want “custom subclasses “all hell would break loose in pvp it would be alright if it was just pve or if people didn’t complain in pvp but that ain’t gonna happen everyone moans about something
-
I'd be scared of them changing it to be honest. Going by the history the changes that have been made aren't always good.
-
Skill trees. They’ll turn it into something akin to a family tree in hillbilly country. Straight and only 2 nodes at the top.
-
12 RespuestasIronic that everything gets reverted back to D1 yet they call it 2.0.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Pord: 11/7/2019 12:39:23 AMI remember when we had skill trees in D1 but almost everyone ran a cut and paste of the same exact build.... I only want skills tress if they’re different from D1
-
I believe that was one of the steps Luke Smith was saying is next. But they couldn’t get that and armor 2.0 out together.
-
Agreed. I also want to see weapons 2.0. The more intentional customization the better. I think they make loot/gear in general too random. This would allow more build experimentation, that could provide more possible viable builds, since some builds require very specific stats to work well.
-
-
would also like to see weapons 2.0 so i can use a regular mod WITH the artifact mods 👍
-
I would like a way to mix and match from my skill trees. Sort of like D1. Or an exotic that allows you to swap one thing from one tree to another whilst wearing it. Something. Anything.
-
3 RespuestasI agree and disagree, because some combos would break the game.
-
Would give the game even less variety in several cases. Streamers and Youtubers would tell you all that can't test things on your own what the best is and that's all anyone will use.
-
14 RespuestasI disagree, hear me out. Some think that the new trees are more restrictive but I think they allow for more powerful, unique, and interesting combos. This is because bungie can design things that synergize well and are really cool without them worrying about how it could be used in unintended ways with something else potentially breaking the game. Giving bungie the control gives them the freedom to make things more interesting and less meh.
-
4 RespuestasBungie is working on completing the artifact, and they have a lot of work left there, probably several years of dlc and adjustments. Anyway the focus is the artifact. No more doctrine changes, not even weapon overhaul. No new enemy either. Just seasonal events. Luke Smith own words.
-
1 RespuestaYou’ll have to wait another couple of years when Bungie “reinvents” Destiny again.
-
2 RespuestasI’d much rather have a weapons 2.0. I find it quite frankly ridiculous we have all those weapons from year 1 but can’t put mods on them. So stupid. Especially if they are unique/themed weapons like EP, Raids and Foundries (SUROS, Hakke, Omolon, Veist)
-
8 RespuestasI sometimes wonder how much time and resources Bungie could have saved if they didn't change Destiny from where ROI left off and looked for ways to improve what actually worked for the game. It was nice having the in-game menu in D1 that we had more freedom to customize our stats, etc.. There was no need for mods, they're just an added grind to the game. This company really needs to learn after 5 years of being at this to ( Stop "fixing" what isn't broken.) and work with what actually works for the game and improve the game. It's not brain surgery...

1 RespuestaThe artifact is kind of the thing that fills that role now but I wouldn't be opposed to having it more like we had in d1.
-
Yea - replace Dawnblade with Self Res and go from there.
