Not a fish fact but a bonus fact:
Irish elk went extinct because of the females. The females were always most attracted to males with large antlers. It got to a point where the males antlers were growing too big for forests and they would get stuck, until finally they went extinct. Bonus fact courtesy of my ichthyology professor.
moral of the story: The cover of the book may be important, but it is not all there is to the book.
