Dear Bungie!
So I got Destiny about two weeks ago and had a blast playing it. I actually liked it so much that i already got 162h game time within this two weeks.
Now the problem occurred yesterday when I was playing gambit and i got logged off in the middle of a match. When trying too login again i got a message saying "Not so fast, your account has bin banned" and now i cant access the game at all.
I know you guys have zero tolerance towards cheating so i wouldn't put myself in that situation, especially with the hours and money i have grinded into this game. I want to make myself clear to whats written below.
I don't cheat in games that can or have effect on other players, makes an unfair advantage towards other and that uses an internet connection/service off any sort. I don't encourage cheating or any type of hacking. But I do sometimes use a trainer but ONLY in singleplayer games where only I can be effected by the choices i do.
So the only thing i can think off that could have potential meaning in this mess is that i had a Trainer for The Outer Worlds laying idle in the background.
But that is a single player game with no multiplayer elements. And if I used a trainer in another game to alter my gameplay it shouldn't affect Destiny that's a multiplayer game?
I also saw your policy for cheating saying "It is covered in the terms and conditions that any cheat program for Destiny or any other game found in use while playing D2 is grounds for a ban". This meaning that i got banned from a Trainer for another game that wasn't even in use?
I'm very frustrated that i didn't even get a warning/notification before the ban, just a simple shutdown.
As i said before iv'e grinded this game till my butt got numbed within this two weeks. Iv'e burnt cash on silver and expansions because i thought it was a good investment. I played the game honest without cheats as i do with all multiplayer games or games that have some kind of cloud/internet element built within it. I don't take enjoyment in people cheating where other players can be affected by their greed and ego.
Please Bungie help me with this, get me some answers why and how i got banned and please consider what iv'e just said.
Best regard a fan.

1 RespuestaTypically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
So the only thing i can think off that could have potential meaning in this mess is that i had a Trainer for The Outer Worlds laying idle in the background.
that would do it. idle or not, they have no way of knowing that. terms of service you agreed to are pretty clear. your account is toast. sorry. as a pc player, we are all responsible for the software running on our machines. forgetfulness is one thing sadly, but there's no way you can convince anyone it was idle at the time. that's why there's a zero tolerance policy.
