I thought the money from Eververse goes into making 'New' events but there's nothing different about this year's Festival of the Lost. Same stupid haunted forest. Could've done a Haunted moon area, . Could've made the Farm into a haunted themed play space where the hive are attacking it. (remember the farm? I member)

What do you mean ? This is FOTL 2019. That means it's new because last year was just FOTL or FOTL 2018! There's some new Eververse stuff to encourage you to spend money buying silver as well. The only difference is maybe a few more masks and ghosts/ships/sparrows that'll just be reskins of older stuff with a few extra pieces glued on. festival of the cost.

I understand they should be paid for either work. But honestly the prices are a little much and come next year when D3 comes out, guess what's not being carried over into the new game.

despite the fact that going f2p was good for player populations but I feel like it just inspired them to demand more money, this is like F76 where they only focus on the ingame store. I was going to buy the harpy ghost but I didn't out of principle. $8 for a ghost and even more for a finisher is absurd and bs, I like to think of the eververse a patreon kind of thing where you get rewards for donating but it really shifted away from how I perceived as they became greedy.

Yes, also the problem imho is that there the F2P have quite different dynamics of gaming... not sure how Destiny series will play in the mix for new players

They made everything but shadowkeep free to play. So I'm guessing this is their way of trying to cash in on newer players.

Forsaken still needs to be bought but yes, I agree. I think they should've just kept the new light version of the game and maybe charged 30-60 bucks for the "complete" edition as so they don't lean on eververse too much.
