I want to point something out and it will upset you
A lot of you RP'ers gave Hoth a ton of shit when he suggested doing something to regulate the RP's. You -blam!-, whined & treated him like dirt. Now folks want it regulated, like Hoth suggested, but everyone acted like he was mandating it & refused to understand that he just worded it badly, as we all do from time to time.
Let that sink in a moment. I am not mad or upset, I am just too damn tired to be gentle.
If it was me, I would be wondering how I could apologize to him & make this right. You can get pissed at me and try to argue it, but I know what his intentions were because he & I have spoken about it many times.

And I shudder to think of our future world being run by people who used to sit on Internet forums as young adults pretending to be intergalactic generals or presidents or whatever the hell folks are getting into around here. I just do. But all that being said.. I see no reason why any of it should be causing this level of drama. It takes me fractions of a second to recognize a RP post and scroll past it. Barely inconveniences me at all. Just seems like folks are looking for something to -blam!- about.

He wanted everyone to be required to put the RP designation in the title and any RP anywhere else would be frowned upon. This is about regulations over characters and abilities. I do agree that rp needs to be regulated though because it’s annoying as -blam!- whenever you try to make a villain character there’s always a “good guy” that has an entire galaxy filled with cruisers equipped with impenetrable shields. However, I DONT think we should overcorrect and only let people have a steel sword and leather armor if you catch my drift.

I think the RP is a great characteristic of this generation of OffTopic, but it’s starting to run off a lot of users because of how dominate it is.
