Scour the rust final step not progressing
Grenade launcher kills are not progressing for this quest. I have had multiple with both mountaintop and colony and they are not counting

Can some -blam!-ing -blam!- bungie -blam!- please fix the timing quest as i've -blam!-ing killed 30 ppl with fusion rifle and -blam!- all counts towards it

Yeah I had 10 pulse rifle final blows played another match and 23 total kills all but a few were with a pulse rifle. Went back and looked and didn't get credit for a single one on scour the rust

1 RespuestaPlease pardon what may appear to be noob questions, but I've been playing Destiny for over 3 years, and this is confusing the heck out of me. I'm doing Scour .. the original description said I needed 100 opponents defeated, and 30 zones captured, which I got done. However, it also said something about needing pulse rifle kills, which I did accomplish. When I got the last kill needed, a 'reward' DING went off, a bunch of stuff flew across the screen which I didn't pay much attention to, as I was in the middle of trying not to be killed. I get to look at the quests page, and the pursuit still has the required 100 defeated (accomplished), the 30 zones (accomplished), but there's a new line showing I need what looks like SMG final blows (could be auto rifle never could figure those out). However, the text says I need 'Super' final blows. OK .. I see stuff on the forums talking about issues, so I figure let me see what works: Tried Supers ... and I got at least 2 kills, nothing changed Tried SMG .. got 1 kill, nothing changed Tried auto-rifles .. got a bunch of kills, nothing changed. I did notice that under the main title of the quest, it appears that the subtitle changed, again, never did take a look at it that close, it says "Timing". What am I doing wrong, and is there anything I can do to get around this. FWIW .. I've not seen a quest with successive steps use the same two requirements for items 1 & 2, then change the last item only. They've always been a totally new set of items. Thanks for any advice.

Are we doing something wrong. Frustrating. I drive a charter bus over the road. And today is marathon iron banner. But now will not be able to get credit for scour the rust. Going out for the next ten days. 😩

i read that if you cause damage with a grenade launcher and get final blows with another weapon it will count toward that step. haven't confirmed yet though. See video by red khakis on youtube for details.

having the same issue not counting kills have tried both hevy and speacial amo typs restarting game and ps4 abandoned the qwst and restarted it 3 times

Is the whole quest bugged in different places? I cant earn Fusion Rifle Final Blows on the Timing step. Using The Wizened Rebuke killing with 1 shot got zero progress.

get 10 kills using SMG and its done better than GL kills :P
