let us reacquire everything in collection
yes I am aware that some items has slots for RNG .... but armor 2.0's only RNG is if it is solar, arc or void
even other pieces .... why not let all weapons and armor in collection be like the ghost shells ..... where the RNG doesnt happen until we reacquire a ghost shell?
If you wont do this .... please make our vaults much much bigger, since we will need to keep a copy of everything in our vaults ... making the collection totally useless

Please let us do this Bungie! They said in the TWAB that they have “housekeeping” in the collections tab they needed to do alongside putting mods into the collections. I wonder what “housekeeping” encompasses?

I agree. We should be able to pull items out of Collection and get a randomly rolled version of the item each time.

1 RespuestaI agree, after year 1, all guns and armor were available in the collections. I notice none of the year 2 items are available as we speak. I think if you earned then it should be available to be pulled.

Look at all the suck-asses in the comments defending Bungie and falsely saying that it’s not possible. It is possible. It was actually sold to us as being a feature coming in the future. 1 RespuestaAgreed. I’ve been pushing this Idea for a long time. There is no reason why we can’t pull from collections. If Bungie made everything in collections as Static Rolls then there is no exploit to keep pulling from collections until you get your god roll. So. It’s simple. Pull from collections, get static rolls. Farm them, you get random rolls.

As a collector, this thread strikes true! I got all weapons i wanted and alla armors for my titan and hunter. and now when I started my warlock.....there's no room.....

All they need to do is give the guns either a set roll from the collections, or make it the roll that put it into your collection, so then RNG still has a factor, but it's not abusable by getting a random roll every time you pull something out of it.

Fixed rolls for all Collection legendary weapons and armor is the solution. They already do it for Exotics so it will be easy to implement They had a chance to bring all D2 weapons and armor back into the pool as meaningful choices and hinted that was what was coming, then we just get this with a handful of Eververse ornaments and all that Y1 gear (including much better ornaments) still wasting away I assume Collections is currently bugged and that when it is fixed there will be more options for pulling Y1 armor sets as 2.0 versions. This cannot be it...

Is it too much to ask to just accept the game, have fun with your friends, and be a part of this community through its ups and downs? If all you wanna do is complain, then uninstall the game right now, and leave us be. We have thrall and dregs to kill and we are currently looking for Randal. Thank you.

They should just let you pull the last roll you obtained from that specific armor/weapon

3 RespuestasThis is going to be hard for any weapons/armor that have random rolls, however, I think it would be a good idea for them to add a feature to re-acquire Armor 2.0 from collections with low stat rolls like in the high 40s. That would be a reasonable compromise I think.

5 RespuestasAll items with their differing rolls can be given unique item IDs if that's not the case already, so it shouldn't be that difficult to allow reacquiring everything, including the exact roll we want as long as we've already earned it.

There needs to a be a weapon reroll mechanic put back into the game for weapons we like. The gunsmith did this in D1. They can use the collections to pull a frame for the weapon we like and then have a material cost at the gunsmith to configure it. If you found it once, you should be able to pull the rollable frame. That being said, assign another key/button to pull and empty frame to retain in the integrity of static rolls so there isn't this feeling of taking away just to add more.

Considering that you can go get your choice of any piece of 4 different sets in whatever element you want from Menagerie in 10 mins, I don't think it would hurt much to let people pull stuff they've already earned from collections. Give them a set element, or rotate them weekly. I really hate the cycle of earndeleteearndeleteearndelete. Either give me enough space to keep everything or let me ACTUALLY be able to get it back on a whim.

Here's what I think they should do. With armour, give the piece a fixed elemental affinity and low stats, similar to pulling an exotic from collections. And also make the armour only have 1 energy. For weapons, I think every weapon should have a curated roll and once the curated roll is earned, it can be pulled from collections. Of course not masterworked.

2 RespuestasBurns?? What the hell are you talking about? Burn resistance is absolutely irrelevant. Gears drop with different stats. With 1.0 we used to be able to determine how much intel, mobility and the like we wanted before hand, especially with the menagerie. Like precisely, 10, 20, 30 all the way up to 100. Now you have to compose with broken stats. So you have to retain gears that will, altogether, set the most rounded stats. A 59 Intel means 9 points wasted, just as much as a 51 means 1 wasted. How are those stats eventually improved? Spend 300 enhancement cores on one single piece of gear?! Yeah right. It’s just pathetic that everyone is fooled by cheap distractions. Anyway that’s the only true difference between 1.0 and 2.0. But I guess Californians are easily fooled by a middle finger wrapped in a shiny package.

If they only let us pull the last roll we found for the item, I think it would be balanced. Kinda like the Y1 guns, just with whatever RNG gave you the first time you found it
