My brother you keep spamming this but you have detailed out how it’s less expensive Not saying you’re wrong just asking for clarity behind your post
1 less core, no longer need different materials per armor/weapon and they drop from other sources. There’s zero reason to complain about them.

More materials are required. Glimmer, Planetary Mats (almost 3 bounties worth), and cores. At least as expensive in terms of time.

The only “rare” item used in infusion that would take time to get would be the enhancement core and that cost is cut in half. It’s far cheaper and convenient than the old system where each item needed a different material.

I didnt like it at first, but I realized this too... it's not bad, and slightly better actually

Thanks I won’t get to play for another hour so I guess I’ll see when I hop in how it is

It isn't cheaper the mat cost is higher now.
It isn't cheaper the mat cost is higher now.
What cost is higher? It’s still 25 materials to buy one of these things.

For one they dropped the infusion cores from 2 to 1. Only on exotics was it a 3 count. Two, they got rid of like for like infusion. Meaning if you had two ether doctors and one had a higher rating you would just pay glimmer. That means they increased mat costs bot droppex them.

And? They then require additional mats on infusions that was just glimmer. Are you so dumb that you think decreasing a cost by one and then increasing costs on infusions that did not have those costs is a savings? Second what are you defending? With actual stats on the armor, it is even more moronic to be paying a cost on infusion when the only thing being rased is item rating. Stats arent effected.. So what am I paying for? The right to swap rating from an item I did content for to am Item I did content for? Oh wait you are just defending this because you are an idiot fanboy.

My advice? Use the trash gear till you get enough upgrade cores from the season pass thing. Once you reach the 900 cap start infusing your favourite gear. Infusing every little thing is a waste of resources
-
Except there's a cap on the number of upgrade cores you can have too. It's something like 20-25. Otherwise I'd agree with you and say use trash till closer to 900 and stockpile but you'll reach your upgrade core limit before you reach your soft light cap. They need to remove that limit or increase it to like 100 or something.

They drop from so many sources if you bought a ton right away you would just be wasting currency.
Thanks I won’t get to play for another hour so I guess I’ll see when I hop in how it is
It’s fantastic. The story is so far my favorite out of all destiny campaigns. Best to not wonder the forums due to big spoilers though.
I am your salvation.
