Spoilers, you've been warned [spoiler]When Ghost started acting the way he did approaching the ship I was genuinely a bit spooked. Not to mention the sudden yank from the ship from the side. Ghost's line as you got yanked in was unnerving, especially as someone who's taken a philosophy class and understands the deeper meanings behind beauty, violence, etc. Beauty was a really REALLY smart thing to include in that line. The spookiest thing was the music as you landed inside. I slowly turned to the left and the first thing I see is the red lights that look like eyes. That effect while cliche was very VERY well done and actually intimidating. The sudden fight with Ghaul was cool but they should've got more creative with the others. Like walking down the hall then getting zapped by lightning suddenly and pulled in the Fanatic fight. Jumpscare from a Nightmare Swordbearer hitting you with a sword and taking you into Crota. My other complaint is how short that mission was and a missed opportunity at the end. THAT WAS THE PERFECT TIME TO GIVE A DARKNESS ABILITY OF SOME SORT. There will never be an opportunity that good ever again. I didn't really like how the campaign cut off but the Black Garden cutscene was great. Should've been another few missions after that prepping for Season of Undying, Garden of Salvation, and the invasions. Overall story was great though. Eris felt really alive and like she was truly suffering. Especially when she lashed out. Ikora didn't do enough. She was great throughout Y2 and they kinda just went meh with her again. Here's hoping she's better once Vex Offensive kicks off as she is the season vendor it seems. [/spoiler]

Too bad we learned nothing new

There won’t be a d3 that would mean destiny was a huge failure and now they have to revamp the entire series for a third time. Destiny 2 is failing

That one mission where you get the cryptoglyph and you get a good close up of the thing had me shacking. ITS SO BIG

Is that why your pants got suddenly tight?

Hopefully we get new guns to use oh wait no that just forsaken trash. Sure story is cool but story lasts what maybe a week. Then the game gets empty fast when you realize there are NO guns to chase outside the raid. Really disappointed in the fact there is basically nothing new to the game outside armor

How is it so far? Anyone?

Cheapest expansion set. Even the final boss is recycled A complete recycled set up for Destiny 3. Big disappointment

Honestly, the ending was very disappointing to me. It just kind of ended with no real conclusion. You go inside, no idea what you're going to find, eager to finally get answers, and nothing happens. You kill some more Nightmares, have a conversation with your inner demons, then the campaign just kind of ends. It was almost as if the game was saying "OK, we wasted enough of your time, you can go now". How cool would it have been if we saw a Shadow version of the Speaker or Cayde and had to confront them? You had an amazing setup going for you and you did nothing with it. Even Eris being haunted by the memory of her friends, seriously? You're going to make us wait to see how that resolves itself? Bungie did such an amazing job with the buildup to going into the ship. But the second you do it immediately goes away.

You're expecting a good story. Better pick up a book then because you certainly will not find it here. Lol
