The Go Slow, Do Less Damage Update
Seriously Bungie?? You're bringing back EVERYTHING that was complained about in Year 1... And actually making it worse by nerfing a ton of stuff that was perfectly balanced as all things should be... Like you're even bringing back the stuff that streamers complained about which I'm surprised about the most considering y'all only contribute to them and nobody else
Edit: You all are literally Defending everything you complained about in year 1... Absolutely hilarious
Edit 2: keep the salt incoming... I love watching people defend what they complained about a year and a half ago

But seriously, we’re too powerful, there’s nothing hardcore about one phasing a raid boss or burning down a strike boss in under 20 seconds. It’s just out of balance, plain and simple. Besides, aside from damage nerfs to a select few perks, we do more base weapon damage than before. So it’s not like Bungie is having us do single digit damage numbers to everything. People who haven’t developed frontal lobes are talking like we’re not going to be able to kill anything anymore, and frankly, it makes this forum look like Clown College. More of the forum losing it over nothing, as usual.

There’s literally a post that explains the math behind the nerfs and buffs, weapons actually do more damage after this update despite the perk nerfs. Stop -blam!- simply because you can’t melt your way through an entire strike’s worth of adds and bosses in 7 minutes.

2 RespuestasAs much as we will be going below year 2 levels, it is extreme to say we're going back to year one. You forget the [i]deep breath[/i] Lack of special ammo Bad heavy weapons Bad primary weapons Lack of build depth Lack of any but like two worth wile exotic armors per class and many more. We have WAAY more power now than we did in y1. Bungie overcompensated for our weakness, that's why they're doing this. We were too weak, and they wanted to make us NOT that. In their efforts to make us powerful, they forgot to account for the fact that making us TOO powerful would throw the game far away from what they want. They're trying to bring us back to the middle. Where we were in d1y2/y3. You know, the parts of this games lifespan that everybody liked. Well, until they nerfed special into the ground. That sucked. Other than that tho d1y3 was pretty good.

4 RespuestasThis is their piss us off cycle. It’s becoming predictable by now. Soon as destiny starts getting slow they make a whole bunch of unnecessary changes that piss us off, but they also try to add something shiny to keep us playing. Then around Xmas when players drop off again they’ll start saying “we heard you” and start changing things back.
