I wish Destiny to be more focused on character's like Borderlands 3's.I want my guardian to talk,acutally have a conversation.
I like a good story but what I[b] love[/b] is a dynamic,evolving character relationship may it be static or by the superior butterfly effect, (Think Telltale,Untile Dawn,fallout 2).
We need to get to know Amanda,Ikora,Zavala,Mara,Shaxx better simply becuase we have faced enemy after enemy without having the why as we fight besides SWEEET loot!.

30 RespuestasDifferent games. Borderlands is like watching a movie. You are participating in SOMEONE else's story. In Destiny you are creating YOUR OWN story, as a participant in larger-than-life events. Having someone TALK in that situation breaks that first-person immersion. The problem is that many younger people have little experience with engaging entertainment that way. IOW, Destiny requires you to engage with the story in an active, participatory way. While Borderlands allows you to experience the story in a completely passive one.
