Does anyone miss those strike prologues like in Destiny 1 while flying in and waiting for the loading screen? They were catchy and were even used as memes because of how often we repeatedly heard them. Plus you always had a heads up on what strike you were going to do next and probably adjusted your load out accordingly. We all hated the “We went into war with the Cabal on mars” 🤣🤣🤣 ohh man, those prologues were great! What were your favorite prologues and what do you think about if they were to bring them back?

2 RespuestasThings were simpler then. A story with a certain degree of continuity and context at least. Now we just have randomly generated, incongruous and jarring discontinuity. Outbreak Perfected...’err what!?’ ‘Oh there’s no continuity. Streamers complained about ‘lack of endgame activities’ so we re-introduced an old favourite in a boringly predictable, timed, jumping puzzle chunk of out-of-context nonsense’ ‘...but I already grinded my teeth to the gums for this rubbish in D1....’

1 RespuestaBungie employees got tired of the d1 strike dialogue being tweeted to them The strike dialogues have become memes and Bungie is offended
-
2 RespuestasYou bring up some good points, and I agree that the Black Garden may not stay among us for long. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. Vex now flood the Garden channels to protect it. We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart.

10 RespuestasDatto said it displeased him,so on that day it was erased from the realm of bungie and Datto was again pleased with the fruits of his labor and so he rested for 3 days .

I mean with how long some of these loading screens can be they should be there.

5 RespuestasEditado por AlieN_x_HuMaN: 9/26/2019 5:31:31 AMYou have made an interesting observation. I will say that beneath the ruins of the Cosmodrome, in the shadow of an old colony ship, something stirs in the depths of the Hellmouth. This Nexus must be stopped. The Queen's bounty is high, so we know it must be powerful. Whether we wanted it or not...we've stepped into a war. If Rasputin was protecting it...it's valuable. As long as she lives, the threat of Crota's return will haunt this world. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. The origin point is somewhere along the coast, near the cosmodrome. Funny story for you; some creatures of the Hive strain against the will of Oryx. But for the Vex, time is relative. The Taken King is dead. An army of Hive controlled by the high priest could be the end of old Russia. Zavala's not too happy about the Splicers playing God-maker...and I can't blame him. Im tracking reports of Fallen Splicers in and around the Hellmouth. Remember Omnigul? Variks has brought unsettling news. And listen to this!...Taniks has no house.

Editado por SuperFakeGamer: 9/27/2019 1:35:11 PMSame reason why are guardian doesn't speak in cutscenes or shaxx just yells at us in the crucible or tower. Too much work for bungie to do those voiceovers I read somewhere online that bungie just pays it's voice actors to go into whatever recording studio is nearest to them and record lines for there characters with no regards to context. Plus it's cheaper to have Nolan North give us lore through his ghost interpretation. Funny story for you. Remember that Centurion Oryx “took” right after you landed on the Dreadnaught? Then the Centurion and that Taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh. Didn't work. So the Centurion's bond-brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. The core goes, and most of the system goes with it. You're gonna make sure that doesn't happen

They were cool and all until it got to the point where you could recite them word for word in your sleep after not playing Destiny 1 for a good year and a bit
-
It just got switched from before the mission to during the mission. Every strike explains why your there/what to do. Although I do wish it had both. I miss hearing zuzuvayla’s sweet sweet voice
-
Because making content is hard.
-
It ain’t much...... but it’s honest work, the intro to Sepiks perfected, the wretched eye, shield brothers and the undying mind were music to my ears. I knew I was in for a good time when I heard shiro 4 or Cayde telling me what a*shole I had to go pound to pulp as I equipped my gjallarhorn, ex machina and eyesluna.
-
whether we wanted to or not, we've started a war with the intro dialogues, bungie, as far as i can tell they nerfed warlocks and titans into hell, so lets get into destroying their defenses
-
Because players have heard them so many times they reciting them in their sleep . Wife woke me up like “ who the hell is Omnigul are you god dam cheating on me ? “ Also Bungie avoids writing at all costs ! And making new strikes !
-
3 RespuestasI thought that by removing prologues from strikes, the other content would thrive. But you have shown me... That’s impossible. As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist

I did three strikes in D1 today while D2 was down. Ir was really way more fun with all the strike medals and stuff. I don't care what Bungie says, my Warlock in D2 has 10 mobility, but in D1 I felt like my Warlock was waaaay more mobile.
-
I cant believe i had totally forgotten about this. Its not something id like bungie to waste time on but i agree its kinda fun/cute.

1 Respuesta[Cayde-6:] Those Fallen in the Ishtar Sink on Venus... story is they raided the Prison of Elders in the Reef. Got an Archon Priest. The Queen's bounty is high so we know it's powerful. We need to hunt this thing down before they fully restore its soul.
-
People could quit before they even landed if they knew which strike they were loading into. I miss the intros, but I also miss the old strikes that went with them.
-
3 RespuestasPaying voice actors is hard. My god this game was a shitshow at launch
-
Cost cutting

I miss Dinklebot. 😞

1 RespuestaGhost doesn't even talk anymore. The prologues were nice, but It's doubtful we will hear them again, much like most of the QOL things we used to have.

They don't have time to explain why they don't have time to explain.

Just remember that Taniks has no House. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking him since Wolves broke their chains, yes? Now Taniks works for Wolf Pack, but not for long
-
One good reason might be for example faster loading times (yes even on console.) Because some of the dialogue took a good while it would give us more waiting.
