Now days strike bosses specifically, are melted in seconds flat. It's fun don't get me wrong, but I miss the days where we actually had to fight the strike boss and it was a risky endevour to stay alive. We had to fight to stay alive, not fight who can melt the boss faster

I think that the AI aggressiveness behavior needs to be cranked up to max
-
Hey whatever happened to the A.I. aggressiveness modifiers we had in D1 (Heroic & Epic). The epic modifier made the AI really friggen aggressive. I like that.

1 RespuestaRemember when they had strike introductions? I miss that

Honestly the warden dervitor is a pretty tough boss fight if it didn’t always get melted -
1 RespuestaOn the one hand I agree. It's not nearly the fun like a 10 min boss fight like in the early days or even D1 with shield brothers and the valus mc dick. Now it is just rince and repeat. On the other hand I am glad that bosses are meltable. Sadly but it is necessary with all the dozens of bounties and pursuits that asks us to farm strikes like no good. It would take aaaages if every boss fight would take longer. Imagine 50 strikes for a triumph or a pinnacle weapon when every run takes as long as a full dungeon. It's all nice and great for the first or second time.. but after the 20th time I would bite my controller.

1 RespuestaPeople complain when bosses are bullet sponges and now that we're at max power level over content those bullet sponges aren't a threat anymore. The cycle will start again with Shadowkeep if they up the power level.
-
3 RespuestasAgreed, d1 strikes were challenging imo. D2 You can have insta melts in a second especially with modifiers and community always finding combos like liars handshake. As cool as some strikes are like will of the thousands it kinda sucks how in strike and nightfall you can kill a -blam!-ing WORM GOD in like a minute.
-
Hence the damage nerf in shadowkeep

7 RespuestasThe problem of being 200 power levels above the strike boss.

I'd rather have back Rocket McDickface pre-nerf
Whether we wanted it or not...
-
Yea strikes kinda suck right now. Like a lot. They are too easy with no modifiers. Add those in and it gets ridiculous.
-
I think all of PVE content is getting faster paced. I don't mind but I don't want to loose the good ol'fashioned slow moving, difficult mission or strike, even if I have to waste a ton of ammo on 1 red bar enemy, I want to fight and fight hard.
-
7 RespuestasAgreed! Remember the brothers! Or the Priest boss. Right. Make them harder but create strike loot to make them worthwhile. They keys were a great idea to open chests at the end. Nowadays it is a snoozefest.
-
They just need to give the strike bosses a fat ass bump in health. That’s it. Our power is -blam!-ing off the charts and their health pools are pathetic.
-
How about the poor Warden? Weakest strike boss ever! I wonder if anybody at all has the triumph for surviving in the heatblast for 10 seconds? I'd done that strike 100 times before I found out by accident that extra bosses even appeared during that fight.
-
So wear armour at about 450 light, or whatever the lowest is. You're welcome 👍
-
You know you could just use shit weapons and make it harder for you
-
I don't. XP
-
Yeah, I do too. Unfortunately, Bungie can't do anything about this without making the anti-nerf community enraged.
-
I have a feeling when the Luna boots/Titan rally barricade gets nerfed it will slow that down considerably. Not having semi automatic grenade launchers and rocket launchers will slow things down with long reload animations. As for boss mechanics alone, that’s another thing entirely.

7 RespuestasYes, but people complain about nerfs. Then they complain about boring strikes. 🤷♂️

1 RespuestaYou know how hard it was to get that "Crispy" Triumph in Warden of Nothing? Not surviving for 10 seconds, that was easy. I mean the boss surviving for more than 10 seconds to use that attack!
-
Editado por Amazinite: 9/21/2019 11:41:20 AMFacts. D1 strikes were great. Even when you were over leveled and had some of the greatest gear, D1 strikes were never as mindless as D2 strikes are now. The only time D1 strikes were somewhat mindless was when the modifiers aligned to give you something like 6x damage arc snipers, then the bosses dissolved. That had the trade-off though of also buffing enemy damage, so you still had to think! But in D2, even without heavyweight, strike bosses dissolve no matter what.

1 RespuestaI went back to d1 and played the strike playlist and had a blast
