you know what Bungie I think the best way to fix cheating and not lose players. Is by instead of baning them, 1 send the cheaters to another server filled with cheaters. 2 give a title that is permanent, Example a title called cheater where they can't remove or replace the title with other titles they own. 3 give them an aura called cheater.
-
Nah just let my player blocks exclude blocked players from my matchmaking. Problem solved.
-
or an Aura that takes away all their abilities and they can't even fire their weapons and let them join crucible where everyone can kill them over and over again! :) whoever gets the most kills from them WINS! ;)

Nah, gives cheaters the ability to slowly figure out how they can avoid the anti cheat
-
3 RespuestasNah. Those games that let's cheaters still play the game, even if it's only against other cheaters, are doing it wrong. Cheaters should lose access to the entire game. The only thing that should change is all bans should now be hardware bans since creating new accounts with New Light will be too easy, and not really cost cheaters anything.

A yellow one

4 Respuestas
you know what Bungie I think the best way fix cheating and cheaters who return again. Is by instead of baning them, 1 send the cheaters to another server filled with cheaters. 2 give a title that is permanent, Example a title called cheater where they can't remove or replace the title with other titles they own. 3 give them an aura called cheater.
Yeah a red aura that blocks vision and causes random fumbling and dropped mags when reloading, random jams and cartridges not ejecting properly in pulses and auto rifles. Or grenade and rocket misfires killing the user randomly. “Killed by the architects” would be a legit thing for cheats .

Editado por BC1 Edge: 9/18/2019 2:14:09 PMIn terms of 2 and 3, cheaters don’t give a f**k about what other people think otherwise they wouldn’t cheat. I think they would wear their cheater tag and aura with pride tbh
-
1 RespuestaCheating cant be fixed properly because Bungie herself cant tell if its their bug/server issue
-
Editado por Speaker: 9/17/2019 10:08:34 PMThis would be great, but Bungie doesn't want to lose the people who still play the game.
-
5 RespuestasThat will never happen, beyond Bungie's own policies, I can see potential lawsuits such as Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress (IIED) from all the snowflakes out there in Destiny Land.
-
Bungie can't even get dedicated servers for legit players and you want separate server for cheaters? 😁
-
So Bungie to pay and design a separate server for cheaters? Why not just ban them and make them rebuy the game? Spend money vs make money....
-
Just replace their helmet with a permanent clown mask
-
1 RespuestaThe cheater Aura must be a rainbow crown

3 RespuestasPerhaps a walk of atonement around the city.
-
This is pretty much titanfall method.
-
Remember when Bungie swung the banhammer last week? Or the week before, or last month? Because Bungie takes cheating very seriously. So seriously, that they do f**k all about it. and this is the company that thought they could run e-sporting.
-
3 RespuestasI fail to understand how that is better (for everybody else) than a ban. What they need is better detection and more people to report cheating. If a cheater gets banned the first time, he already loses ALL his loot. It's pretty bad already, but if he tries again with a new account, and gets banned again, he's not even going to bother anymore. If they fall under a different category, it's an outlier.
-
You realize if you gave people a special reward for cheating people would go after that just to have it. Like if I could have a title above my character that said master cheese or something of that nature I would definitely go for it
-
but at the end of the day you can just make free accounts. you can share you games and your gold with whoe ever is signed in to your xbox. sooooo and besides a lot of people would just want that title anyways lol
-
Editado por LocoToopa: 9/17/2019 4:16:53 PMIt would be too tempting to actually cheat just to get the emblem/title and aura.
-
1 RespuestaIt's like to be the busiest server given the state of crucible lfg right now...
-
I know of 10+ people that were wrongfully banned. Honestly a customer service and good moderators for banning would be better. As it stands I’ve matched 5 cheaters since d2 launches and since I quit its pvp and 2 of them we matched twice 2 monthes apart and they were doing the exact same thing. The booting was always a large problem and it was never truly addressed. There were even small tournaments that had the booters in it
-
The title would be genius, and other companies would do it. Bungie won't tho, for fear of lost revenue.
-
I would make their toons unable to run in any activity. Bit like a ball n chain and no sparrows. I'm sure they would get sick of walking everywhere
