Way of the Wraith

So now that they've dramatically nerfed truesight(and screwed up shattering strike in the process)...can we get a redesign on the Wraith subclass? I agree that truesight(outside of the super) was a game breaking advantage at 9 seconds. But 3 seconds is a bit of a joke and NOT worth the potential risk you take while crouching and handicapping yourself to activate it. So let's just trash it and start over. Start with the melee. This is an assassin subclass.... So why is the melee a smoke grenade that is considerably less useful than the other void hunter trees? It's boring and lacks imagination. Scrap the smoke and give us a backstab melee like bladedancer had in D1. It would finally give us another class with a useful one shot melee and would still take more thought and skill than the OP Titan shoulder charge. It would also encourage the assassin/ambush style gameplay that this subclass's power fantasy is based on. Flawless execution is a good idea(sans truesight) so lets make it viable while balancing the risk/reward of having to crouch and get a headshot. What if invisibility kept you off enemy radar for the duration (even when jumping/sprinting) of flawless and we got an upgraded radar similar to top tree nightstalker? Keep shattering strike and the extended melee range and increase the duration slightly(maybe 10 seconds). This would still provide a situational awareness advantage without the need for wall hacks. It also preserves the stealth element. Shooting would still take you out of invis. As a bonus...maybe it could also award a full melee charge upon proc? That way you can take advantage of the backstab melee while invis. Alternatively, you could make the shattering strike disorient or suppress enemies in PvP. Spectral blades is ok as is, but the hit detection needs to be improved dramatically. I regularly tag other players with both the heavy and light attacks in crucible and it's like I never touched them. I get the sound cue but no damage is done. Sometimes this happens 2 or 3 times in a row. That's unacceptable...especially since supers will now be harder to earn. If the goal is to make their use a more calculated decision then they need to reward you when you use them well. Especially when it's so easy to run from spectral already. I dont know if there is any way to ensure that the community managers see this. But I'm hoping that they do. Comments are welcome. Legitimate discussion is even better.
