Bungie has to suck every cent out of their player base through microtransactions, because Forsaken sales tanked, and Activision peaced out.
In D1, the raids had their own unique armor sets. They looked cool too. I don't know know what happened to those armor designers, but I wish they would come back.
The amount of reskins in D2 is pathetic. Bungie used to take pride in their work. Now they don't even try, because "content is hard" or something.

Yes, it is. It's a universal ornament. The raid armor is re-skinned Eververse armor from Curse of Osiris.

except the chrome vex armor isnt from eververse , its from the premium track which you earn by owning the season and then playing the game. no microtransaction related. you are mixing up the plasticity set and the cartographer set.

What shady BS? I get a great game I can play with my friends and my GF, the Eververse exists there purely for my cosmetic needs, you can get lots of current or near current gear by just getting Engrams. Nothing that shady going on.

I'm not even mad. Fortnite does reskin a lot and it's not necessary to buy the content. I might buy it if i have the money to spare, maybe i won't but i'll keep playing what i have already bought.
