John f Kennedy?
-
Lmao nope, the time could’ve been spent on something else. Maybe them working on factions.
-
Animators making the animation. I really don't see how it took away from other aspects. Especially seeing as we're getting different components in dlc. So the broad statement of could've put that effort elsewhere is moot.
-
Animations that you have to buy 🤡🤡🤡
-
They're giving away 1 for each character for free. Afterwards i dont plan to buy any as it'll be just like majority of eververse stuff, different look, same function :/
-
Lmao so it’s useless. ONE that’s free? Ok lmao.
-
I wouldn't say useless as there'll be perks such as using a finisher (any finisher so free ones will work) will drop heavy at the cost of half your super, theres a hunter exotic where finishers turn you invis and heal you. But really different finisher animations is no different than ships, shaders, emotes etc. No actual gameplay difference.
-
Why would I use a finisher when I could kill it more quickly? I don’t want to use half my super.
-
Guranteed heavy ammo? I've had moments of extreme heavy droughts so getting a guranteed brick is nice. And if I'm not mistaken you can keep your old armor post 2.0, run 2 rocket scavenger perks and thats 3 or 4 shots for half a super. Not hard to get your super back afterwards. R.i.p gambit.
-
And you only need heavy for bosses. Equip a heavy mod if you need it that badly. Jotuun melts, and your team probably has heavy. Also, heavy bricks spawn.
-
I personally dont have heavy mods, and finder perks aren't always reliable. Nonetheless having more ways to get heavy is useful. Aside from dealing with truth spam in gambit :v
-
Getting those mods will be easier since if you get one you get to keep it.
-
Maybe so. But why poke holes? One day on the forum and it would appear everyone hates everything in the game.
-
Why poke holes? Hmmm... this game series has so many errors and for god sake they even have names for them, the community has been seeing them for so long we barely acknowledge they’ve never been truly fixed. The fact that they have eclipsed the weapons and armor available in this game with just as many ships, sparrows, ghosts, ghost projections, emotes, ornaments, and transmit skins but until armor 2.0 half of armors have been obsolete since forsaken launched and half of vanilla weapons without random rolls. The gutting of trials and faction rallies, the fact that pvp is and has been an atrocious lag/latency monster since launch the fact that raids and strikes glitch commonly, and so on and so on you could go on for days with how much is wrong and never fixed but yeah get excited for the shiny new baubles they want to sell you and keep rationalizing how everyone else is just complaining for no good reason at all.

Please keep in mind that there are some of us who are critical of things inside the game or decisions made by Bungie, but still think the game is good, very good. And that Bungie is a fine company, full of great people, doing their best. It doesn’t mean we can’t be critical, and vocal about our beliefs or opinions.
-
Lmao bc people want their moneys worth.
-
I would say that they've gotten it. First year was 90 if you bought the game up front plus the season pass. That comes out to $7.50 a month. Most people spend that on lunch. The second year DLC was $40 or a little over $3 a month. The price of a BS coffee. Oh the horror that people got hours upon hours of game time for such a low price. That's a really low cost to time ratio. Plus I love how many on here are acting like they actually bought it and their parents didn't or they're game sharing with their friend who didn't buy it is hilarious. Where gamers get this grand idea that everything should be the best product they've ever seen or it's trash and a waste therefore not worth it is wild. Of course hind sight is 20/20 on things that could have been better. But this money's worth argument is a joke.
-
Generic argument to say the least how much time do you invest in your lunch and bs coffee? But if you are trying to show people how disposable this game is then please continue as it would make sense since they already run the biggest content recycling program in gaming.

If we are going by this logic then you need to factor in electricity, internet providers, PSN/ Xbox live as well. Some people also pay for their Luna's/Not forgotten/Recluse as well. Only then will you have a true monetary figure and not be pulling numbers out of your ass. Money spent does not always equal value.
-
Your electricity, Your Internet, Your platform hosting fees are not Bungie’s choices. They are yours, and even if Bungie didn’t exist, you would still have them. Heck, why don’t you attempt to pawn off your mortgage interest to Bungie also, or the taxes you pay, or the water and food required to keep you alive. Anyone foolish enough to pay another to play a game for them to gain a non tangible in game item also has nothing to do with Bungie. That choice is theirs, alone. Poster is absolutely correct. When a person has approaching 900 hours in a game, as you do, they are paying just pennies per hour of entertainment. The only items involved in that cost benefit analysis are the Bungie fees associated with the game vs the hours they have in it. Period. Bungie’s decisions are theirs, they should take responsibility for their decisions. Your choices of ISP and Electricity, and food choices and water, along with platform hosting fees, etc... are your responsibilities, based on your decisions. It wouldn’t surprise me if you expect us to factor in your clothes into a cost benefit analysis, soley bc of what you wear when you play this game.
-
They just tried to factor all the extra's because they couldn't handle that I was right and will try to make any argument to support them hating on the game. Swear they just want to find things to complain about. It's like people that ask for their money back on a meal but ate the whole thing.
-
It's like people that ask for their money back on a meal but ate the whole thing.
Agreed. Good game, very good. Good folks at Bungie, even if I may disagree with their approaches sometimes, they are still good people doing their best to make a crap ton of us happy. My opinion is just that, an opinion. Bungie sees thousands upon thousand and more of these opinions every day. Compiling these opinions alongside their internal metrics is what drives their decisions. Fully understand this.

Try playing Destiny without electricity and see how that goes for you.
