Once they nerf Luna and Rally most people won't even be able to finish raids anymore >.<

You never played destiny one, right?

I know the destiny dads are gonna riot.

I just picked up a pitchfork and tiki torch

Editado por Lich: 9/3/2019 10:18:27 PMAnyone will still be able to raid. pve is no challenge and the reward are bad. Terribly designed ugly Reskins medicore guns. What for a title ?
-
Talk crap, having done Scourge with an all hunter team, you don't need either. All they do is allow players a certain level of security and I say this as a Warlock main.
-
Editado por Elkris Vehrnn: 9/4/2019 4:59:30 PMThat's why i miss destiny one raids, no one would complain about needing to reload guns, and no one would call NH a crutch, the game itself and a good part of the community are not in a good spot right now
-
Hang on, Titan bubble and Warlock rez we’re both crutches. I appreciate the rose colored glasses, but D1 had its raid crunches same as D2.
-
Editado por Elkris Vehrnn: 9/4/2019 12:14:40 AMBut even rez wasn't too op in hard raids and etcetera (unless if the team was made entirely of warlocks but i never saw such a thing), at least my team never relied on it to play and they're crying because they think that without auto reloads they won't be able to do raids anymore, like come on man, at least in d1 we needed to reload our guns (sorry for the bad english, it isn't my first language)
-
I understand what you’re trying to say, your English is good. My only point was to highlight there were crutches in D1, it wasn’t free of them. When I read your first post it seemed to say there were no crutches in D1. Warlock Rez was a huge crutch for a large portion of the community, but in a different way than Well or Luna is now.
-
Wait until they nerf your crutch. They say all hunter team can do it. Yes cel. N hawk needs to go.
-
My crutch? I'm a warlock main... Or can't you read? Plus I run void hunter in raids to provide orbs for my teams.
-
What are the other 5?
-
Right, because you can do that, it means everyone else can too. I said MOST teams, not all. And it was more or less an inditement on what you just mentioned -- that Well and Luna have trivialized the raids because they are an easy crutch if you don't know what you're doing. I don't know how I was talking crap though?
-
Most people will be able to complete the raids, if they can't then it's not down to the subclass they're using but that either they or the fireteam around them are consistently making mistakes. Unfortunately most folk nowadays want the quick runs, as few wipes as possible, hence the reliance on WoR and rally barricade, melting point ect. If anything, this should see a return to the likes of VoG, Wrath of the machine ect.
-
You can finish any raid with just about any loadout. They are not hard.
-
most people
I didn't say everybody.
-
As in most people he means trash cans 🤣 jk
-
True. I’m actually happy they are steering the game away from casual and more towards hobbyist. Clears should not be automatic. Encounters should be well thought out requiring synergistic loadouts and roles. My preference on difficulty: Story mission - beginners - almost automatic clear especially in a fireteam. Challenging to solo. Strike - intermediate - not always automatic. Requires some thought. Endgame like dungeon or raid - advanced - requires good loadout and well coordinated team.

I guess my initial point being there are a lot of groups that can stumble around and still complete a 1 phase -- but once this nerf goes into effect I think it will lower the DPS enough that you won't be able to anymore. So there are a lot of groups who probably aren't prepared for that. I don't think most groups even know how to run Last Wish legit. I don't run with a set group and like to help out in sherpa raids often so I have seen both sides of the spectrum. There are a lot of people in raids who can barely kill things and stay alive. So I get it, people in set groups running with the same people doing the same executions over and over -- nothing will ever be complicated for them unless Bungie drastically change their raid design. I think this change will leave less room for dead weight or error -- even if just a little. Even a guy who can't kill anything all raid right now can still drop a Luna Well which is automatic for the 1 phase. Next season you might actually have to be responsible for doing real work. Even for good raiders it's pretty easy to do an encounter right when you know you only have to do it once. Most of the well prepared raid teams I have been on still end up having dumb shit happen from time to time. That will just be more prevalent once you have to start doing all the encounters multiple times. Less room for error always makes something harder. I do agree though. Clears should not be automatic. But I also think Bungie has become WAY too stingy with loot drops, and just not making that great of raid loot lately, so the balance seems fine to me right now. Just my opinion.
-
It’s just the randomness of the drops. Tarrbah on 1st run. Thousand Voices? 35. 🤷♂️
-
Agreed with the raid loot. If this stuff is gonna be difficult, give us a reason to do it. Looks like they are actually doing this with garden tho. If you’ve seen the weapons from pax they look sweet the the raid exotic lols like it’s gonna be really good FOR RAIDS! Which is honestly all I wanted.
