Honestly they should just let us require the gear with the perks when we first got the weapon.
Want a better roll? Grind. If not just pull out the roll you first got on that weapon off the collections

That would be inherently unbalanced. Players would then be able to pull god rolls out of their collections simply because they got lucky with their initial drop. Example: me And a friend both get a service revolver. I get kill clip, outlaw, drop mag, and a range masterwork. My friend gets field prep opening shot, alloy mag, and a handling masterwork. Is it fair that I basically have a god roll I can pull out of collections at will because I got lucky? I would compromise on your position and say you should be able to “save” rolls to collections that you have acquired and when you get a better roll, you could save that as the default roll you can pull from collections. That would encourage grind.

But you wouldn't dismantle a god roll in the 1st place so you'd have no need to pull it from collections. Only reason we need to be able to pull things from collections is when we've dismantled it, which we only do with rubbish anyway. Also, yes that would be fair anyway, since that's the roll you got to drop, it's no different at all to just keeping the initial weapon you got to drop.

Yeah, I would dismantle it. Maybe even dismantle and pull it from collections over and over to taunt my friend for fun that I have a god roll I can access at any time and he has jack.

I mean this whole game is basically about luck. So if you got lucky great. Unlucky? Grind. It's been like this for what...4-5 years
