I love Destiny. I’ve played this game longer than any other video game. The core gameplay mechanics are some of the best in any FPS currently on the market. The world is fascinating and the art and sound design are incredible.
I’d love it even more if Bungie would stop changing progression, balance and how they deliver content every other year. It’s incredibly frustrating to get used to a system only to have it be completely different in another expansion or sequel, with new names, currency, UI, power climb and whatever else Bungie decides to make up off the top of their heads.
They must have a sign on the wall that says “consistency is bad”.
Also the lore tabs taking the place of actual playable story is annoying. The grind is bad enough but when they remove the narrative motivation, the game is literally reduced to playing just to make a number go up.

Editado por Clint: 9/1/2019 11:30:25 AMThis. Couldn't agree more. I've literally spent the last 6-9 months not 'masterworking' any armour, hoarding cores and mats because I always feel like they'll change the way something works and waste my effort. Ever since D1, every year they change the way something in game works. Every year they go back on something they overlooked or never looked into at all. Or they change something nobody wanted changing etc. Blah, blah, blah. It's so draining. I'm going through my vault alone deleting gear I worked to get, ploughed mats/time into because it's all gonna be obsolete and superseded with yet another iteration of the armour systems in game. *Eyes roll into back of my head

Your first paragraph describes the only good things about Destiny. For the rest of it, I don’t know what they’re thinking... Bungie is throwing darts and hoping it works, rarely getting anything right.

This a million times over: "Also the lore tabs taking the place of actual playable story is annoying. " I hope Shadowkeep's campaign is a long and involved one and that they don't make it overly easy either.

honestly their cutscenes and in game story hasn't ever been too good. I've always liked lore tabs to be honest

I've been hoping they did this for years with a deeper more engaging story .. Missions that aren't easy .. Add some kind of challenge or something
