*You continue alone. Just as you think you see the end of the tunnel, you hear noises behind you.*

*quickly turns around and takes aim, ready to face whatever it is.*

*You hear more noises and stay alert. On one side of the tunnel you see a broken gate. A dusty jeep is inside.*

*activates the scanner.*

*The jeep is fully functional. About 70 spiders are in front of you*

*deploys a fire turret and casts a shade soul.*

*You kill a bunch of spiders, but they keep coming. You hear some from behind you spinning webs to block your escape.*

*throws a fire grenade to burn the web.*

*Strangely enough, the web seems almost unaffected. You realize it is made of deep strands.*

Thought I saw the last any sort of deep related stuff. *tries to cut through.*

*With difficulty you cut through, but the spiders are making headway.*

*gets in the jeep and tries to drive through it.*

*The jeep starts fine and gets through the webs, albeit not too quickly. There are about 40 small spiders in front of you(towards the exit end of the tunnel)*

*floors the gas pedal and tries to run them over.*

*You run over a lot of them, but 6 get on the jeep. Two behind, 4 in front. They leap to attack you!*

*fires a shotgun at them and continues.*

*You kill 2 in front, but the two behind land on you and bite at your neck. The two alive in front begin webbing you to the jeep*

*tries to shade cloak out.*

*You cloak out and exit the tunnel. You got luckky and jumped out the hillside inside of the sea side. The spiders retreat into their lair. The fog is even worse. The source of the corruption is closer.*

*brushes self off.* that went better than I thought. *proceeds onward.*

*You hear demonic screaming from far away, deep in the woods. The path is straight. Just under 2 miles to go.*

*draws dex sybaris and proceeds with caution.*

*The screaming stops. You see nothing, no change in terrain.*
-
*grips dex sybaris tighter, expecting enemies.*

*You see a gas station ahead. It has clearly been destroyed by several large creatures. Webs and small spiders are clearly visible.*
