If I have 11+ motes, and am in the middle of clearing enemies, you bet your ass I'm spending those extra 5 - 10 seconds getting up to 15 motes to drop a large blocker as we enter the Primeval fight. Especially if the other team is close or already summoned theirs.

The medium blocker takes more shots, has zero cool down on his 16,000 abilities, and moves any place on the map at will. He will also stick it to your wife if you don't watch him carefully.

You should be dropping medium and small blockers, large isnt going to do much for you there.

You do have a point to some degree. Judgement must be taken into account and not just numbers. If we're in the middle of a wave and have the lead over the other team, sure it's not going to hurt. It's more when we have enough and a new wave starts that's what causes the problem.
