Because based on your track record, this will save you a patch or hot fix. If this past year was an indication of your quest steps, all the patches you rolled out JUST to tone down quests should be enough data. Here is a sample:
- Scaled back the miniboss kills in EAZ for Solstice armor
- Changed the Gambit/Crucible progression in Hall of Triumphs to make it more reasonable
- Toning down Iron Banner quest steps for grenade kills to advance the armor steps
- Removed Corsair Down requirement for Truth quest
- Changed Gambit Prime bounty to remove negative progress
- Lowered Revelry orb collection in the crucible
- Mountaintop requirements are being lowered
- Menagerie getting unlocked account wide, was a response to the Izanami Forge quest
- Changed requirements for Hand Cannon kills in Gambit for Ace of Spades
- Increased Meatball chances to start the Malfeasance quest
Not to mention the investment increases for collectibles for titles and triumphs
- Increased drop rates for swords in Menagerie
- Increased drop rate for raid exotics and cosmetics
- Allowed more lore to be discovered in the Dreaming City since they were almost non-existent before
These are just some of the items I remembered, and I am sure there are more. If you REALLY want to learn from your mistakes, cut this bullshit out in the first place.
Take every quest, triumph, grind you have planned in Shadowkeep and have Team Velveeta test it out. Then cut the requirements in half and roll that out.

10 RespuestasThe grinds are so boring and tedious... For ONE character. I pity the no lifing losers, doing three of them.
