This Will Be Unpopular, But. . .
I think Luna’s and Not Forgotten, and hear me out before you flip, I think Luna’s and Not Forgotten should be reverted to their original state, but also with two changes.
1 - Magnificent Howl only works on precision, not body
AND
2 - Reduce the mag to 4 shots
Now please read before you go screaming in the replies and disliking. You may think the reverting might be too powerful, and my proposed changes absurd, BUT it could work, and here’s the how and why.
Reverting the change brings back the power of Luna’s/NF, which are lacking. Right now, they’re simply really consistent 150’s due to the precision frame. That’s it. Returning to 180 brings back the power of Luna’s/NF.
Now the first change, Mag Howl on precision only, helps rein in the power a little by requiring perfect precision, and most people would probably be fine with that. But the reality is that won’t be enough. That’s where the drop to 4 in the mag comes in. This would require perfect precision for a kill, and give a 1 bullet cushion for body-shots. If you can’t land your shots, you simply won’t be able to effectively use the guns, greatly raising the skill gap. Plus, the requirement of reloading after a four shots, hit or miss, gives the weapons some down time. This even further increases the skill gap of Not Forgotten as it’s missing the drop mag perk that Luna’s has, which grants a little more forgiveness due to faster reload.
So if you can’t land 3 precision hits, if you can’t secure the kill, you will be punished. And no spamming until kill, as the mag is small. Each shot must be placed.
I personally miss the power of Luna’s/NF, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Right now it feels consistent but not powerful. I think these changes would bring back the power but not without boundaries.

I'm down with Magnificent Howl getting its damage buff only on crits, but four in a magazine is just straight-up not okay. I like weapons that reward accuracy, but there is a fine line between "rewarding accuracy" and "punishing less than perfection". Even if you are 100% accurate and never miss a shot, you will never be able to win a 1v2 with four shots in a Hand Cannon and that is a terrible feeling. With this in mind, you are encouraging players to use their special weapons more often, which is also terrible. I understand where you're coming from, but in terms of practicality, this is not a good move.

15 RespuestasYour ideas are good but faulted in the fact that if you have to pace your shots because they matter so much you will rarely be firing at 180 rpm. Only the top 1% would honestly be able to master the gun and consistently shoot at 180 rpm with accuracy. So might as well keep it at 150 if your gonna force players to pace there shots

2 RespuestasSomething about 4 bullets in a revolver just doesn't seem right.

4 RespuestasThis is just dumb.

9 RespuestasIt doesn't need any changes. The gun is one of the most used guns in the game. This is when bungie looks to nerf something. I don't think it needs a nerf, but it doesn't need any kinda buff either.

1 RespuestaWhat would be the point of reducing the mag to 4 and reverting it to 180? Seems counterintuitive to make it drain reserves faster and have less to work with
