As an (I have to admit, and when did this happen) older gamer, I do not appreciate or enjoy feeling like I'm forced into competitive modes (Crucible, Gambit, Comp) to progress. Especially when SO MANY of the interesting or powerful weapons only have avenues to acquire them through those modes.
I'm working on the connection strength step of "Weaponize the Unknown" and honestly have a headache after 2 bad matches where it was full sweat lord stacks on the other team.
You can also file this under Connection Based MM is prejudiced against >30 customers.
Thank god this isn't Reddit, at least I can't be downvoted into silence for having an opinion.
Allow us to play how we want.
This has been absent from Bungie's design philosophy since the release of Destiny 1. I can deal with Gambit if I absolutely have to but anything with pvp requirements is a no go for me. I haven't played a pvp game with any dedication or seriousness since Bad Company 2. The older I get, the less enthused I am to play any kind of pvp. Destiny 2 has some of the worst I've ever seen. Besides, I've never seen the appeal of being dropped into a box and having to shoot each other over and over again for a score that means nothing.
