Holy crap do I disagree with this post. Why in the hell would anyone want to spoil the game via reading? Can it be more anti-climatic

Editado por Caerys: 8/20/2019 5:44:23 AMLook lady, when the head of the company tells us this.
This differs from last year’s Annual Pass, which permanently added activities to the game. This year will see events that last for three months and offer new rewards to chase, although at the end of that period, some of the activities will go away.
The people who BUY the content want to know what exactly will be 'going away'. It's not just about the items, he said they will be returning. It's about the activities themselves. He needs to clarify if it's things like 'Taken Invasions' when TTK was introduced in Destiny 1, or if it's things like Forges, Reckoning and Menagerie. Taking away entire activities leads to FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and it's a real sh*tty tactic used by publishers/developers to get people to play their game. It turns the game into a chore, makes people feel addicted or most probably it's used to inflate their player numbers so investors take more interest in the company. No one wants spoilers, but the customer needs to know what will be 'going away'.

Oh little bit of sexism.

For saying "look lady"?

Good to know how low the bar can go. Thank you.

When you ask what exactly you are buying and how long will it last, it's not "spoiling", it's a part of product description and it's needed to make an informed decision whether to buy it or not.
-
You're unbearably naive.
-
Spoil it? Destiny is going through a fundamental shift in how it’s designed, built, and executed. I’m not looking for plot details or anything like that, I simply think it would be good to have a little more insight into the decisions behind the future development process so that I (and others who also have questions about these changes) have a better idea of what kind of game Destiny is going to become. If you’re happy spending money on a big old question mark, that’s great. I would just like to be a little more informed.
-
Your sending me mixed messages. Your aware that destiny is changing in terms of designed and execution yet you still think your not looking for plot details when asking for more insight about a ever evolving world?Cmon It's more then likely. There is nothing wrong with having question's but they will be answerd anyway when Shadowkeep drops. Not to mention that the content is done. There is no decisions behind the future development process right now, shadowkeep is right around the corner and they are likely working on the very last season, waiting on feedback from shadowkeep. SOOoooo.....Yes I'm happy spending money on a big old question mark because it's a question mark nonetheless for me when Destiny is my home.

Buyer beware....I don't think you've ever heard of this. If this doesn't raise red flags to you, then I'm sorry.
-
Beware of what? You diden't finish your sentence. Otherwise.....yea I'm fine.

It is the legal principal of caveat emptor, which has the buyer needed to do due diligence before making a purchase. Some people (like me) want more clarity on what will get removed etc etc before we purchase anything. But at the end of the day it is your income to dispose of so you do you dude.
