Do you believe in ghosts? Do you think there are spirits in this world roaming the land of the living?
I honestly believe they exist. When I was about 13, I saw a ghost. We were at St. Augustine, Florida for a family vacation. It was a round 7:40 pm and we decided to walk around a bit. We walked around and eventually made our way towards the St Augustine Lighthouse and took a small break in a park near the building to let my little cousins, who were about 6 and 9 at the time, to play around a bit. I was sitting on a bench and got a feeling like I was being looked at. And it felt like I was being watched from the Lighthouse. I turned around and looked up. There in the window was a figure. It looked like a girl with long hair in a long dress. The figure ran away from the window and out of sight after a few seconds. I just figured it was nothing and figured that it was just someone walking around the building. That was until we caught up with my uncle, who had visited the Lighthouse earlier in the day. Apparently, during the construction of the Lighthouse’s construction, the overseer would bring his children with him and allow them to play around. But one day, his two eldest children tragically died after a cart they were playing on fell into the water and they drowned. The children had since then allegedly haunted the Lighthouse. And sometimes, people would report seeing one of the spirits of the children in the windows or at the top of the Lighthouse, and would describe her as a young girls with long hair in a long dress.
To this day, I’m still convinced that what I saw was the ghost of that girl.

1 RespuestaI believe the human mind is incredibly bad at discerning between reality and fantasy.

I ain’t ‘fraid a no ghosts!

Editado por shell: 8/16/2019 2:21:02 AMNo. It's ridiculous that people actually believe in them in 2019. The primitive parts of our brain that conjure up images of ghost is just trying to get you to get the fuck out of uncomfortable situations. It's like walking through woods at night - there is nothing at all supernatural going on, but if you stick around your brain will turn you into a panicky mess because you are in a scary situation and it can't deal with it.

Any “encounter” could be faked in a million different ways. There’s no definite proof that there has been a true sighting or encounter with one. I’ve seen many videos saying they saw, heard, or were in the presence of a ghost, but it’s super easy to fake that and whatever they “saw/heard” is never clearly in the video or in the video at all. Also, why would we have ghosts? What’s the science behind it? There’s nothing to tell us that it is even remotely feasible. So no I don’t believe in ghosts.

Let's just say I've seen some things.

I used to live in a house where some girl hung herself in the corner, that corner would never take paint, it’d just turn like a dirty version on the colour, and there was sometimes something (idk what) like floating down the hallway into the attic area... shit was crazy

millions of people die every year. ghost sightings would be extremely common if they existed. 🤷🏽♂️

There's some really hard to explain stuff out there but no, not until I have a completely unexplainable experience myself.

Ghosts no. Demons yes.

... Fuck no...
not included in the DLC
No. I see no reason to assume they exist. Saying yes comes with more supernatural baggage that I also see no reason to assume exists.
-
I do not, however they make for some nice stories.

Until I summon Doomguy then no

I want to believe. I've watched a few ghost shows but having studied media I can usually come up with ways in which an event could be faked. Even the three "ghosts" I've seen I could explain away.
-
I believe I'll never have the experience of verifying their existence for myself.
-
Nope. I believe most paranormal sightings and activities can be explained by perception. The human brain, while literally being the most complex computer on the planet, is also a -blam!-ing moron. It tends to see what it wants to see and not see what it doesn't. It's all about perception. When we hear a scary noise, our instinct puts us into overdrive and our imagination and perception run wild, but in reality, that noise was probably something pretty normal.
-
The way I see it, Ghost, Demons, and other Paranormal things are just residents from parallel universes slipping into ours on occasion, this also includes us temporally slipping into theirs as well so if this is true, you totally could have jacked off as a ghost or demon and made residents of whatever universe you slipped into disturbed.
though this could also be a wrong theory, in which case then those demons are out to get you so out demon the demons.
Personally I saw one along along time ago when I was a kid and everyone else saw it too. Then it faded away into a wall

Yes. Not as common as "haunted" places, but I feel that they're out there.
