No and the reason why is because it will just become another well of raidance. Instead Bungie needs to look at how bubble could be a useful defensive option in encounters.

How would it become another well ? Just don't go overboard with it. There's quite some margin before reaching well's level.

If you make it like D1 its just another well you have to walk out of. I think it should just be used as a party wide defensive mechanism. Maybe make the overshield from the helm better.

If you give it weapons of light then it's just wells, If you give it shields then it's just a well but you can move out of it, if you give it the other thing then it's still just becomes a worse well. The only thing it does well is blocking damage since well only heals you.

People don't use Bubble simply because its usefulness is too limited. In 99% of the situation you'll encounter in the game it'll hardly have any impact. Bubble is great at what it's doing, but when you think about it, hiding behind a pillar provide most of the benefit of a Bubble.

Then that's not a problem well has to deal with. That's a problem bubble itself. Why use well when it only provides an over shield or weapon buff? It just becomes an over glorified rift. The whole appeal of Well is that it combines the two rift into one. If you remove one then why use it when a rift can do the same job but somewhat worse. Bubble is just a poorly design super. You can't give it weapons or armor of light without it being a worse well and if you give it those while nerfing well then why should we use well? Bubble negates damage while well merely heals some damage.

If you lower the power of its defensive or offensive options, well would still be appealing. It's simple math, as long as the buff provides by 1 player to the other 2-5 is more beneficial than adding an extra dps super.

Yeah pretty much. I mean everyone knows that well is super strong in pve, no one is disagreeing with that. my problem is that people think that by nerfing well we can bring up bubble. Bubble just doesn't work in D2. It was fine in D1 but things are different now in D2. Bubble needs a rework not a buff.

I mean, how many ways to support can you imagine in this game ? It's basically do more damage or take less damage, and well already does both. What could bubble do which would make it an attractive support option ? Only thing which comes to mind would be an auto refill to max of all your ammunitions to anyone who stop in the bubble in PVE, and refill special in PVP. Not sure how good it would be though. But at least people using it would feel like they've accomplished something useful. xP

Support doesn't really work well with the game since it's an FPS first and an rpg later. Or to put it simply, it's an FPS with extra steps. This is one of the reason why I want a D3. I want them to overhaul how we play Destiny. No more melee, no more grenades, just abilities and possibly a 3rd person mode for people who like it. (It's optional people, not mandatory. I don't play pvp so just make 3rd person not optional. make it strictly 1st person or something) And make warlocks running animation a floating animation. Come on! You have space wizards and you don't make them float? What is this Bungie? You give Hunters the abilities to put their gun on their ;egs but the other two classes get nothing? THE WARLOCK EVEN FLOATS ON THE ARMOR SCREEEN!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? WHY AM I GETTING MAD ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO FLOAT!?

You can’t just build encounters around it as then you’ll need a Titan in everyone of those. It’s needs a buff in its current state...
