The Mara sov dialogue had references that were intended for veteran players anyways. Not saying that’s your problem but that is just how it is.

There can be Veteran players that missed the Forsaken era, like my SO. Literally just went into Queens Court for the first time yesterday for the 3rd seed of light and nothing else. It is such a waste. Destiny stories are always fragmented like this, being locked behind Raids or even like Black Armory where you needed Izanagi's Burden to complete the story which I barely did during Season of the Drifter. Suprisingly, the Invitation of the Nine bounties did a good job at story telling during Season of the Drifter despite the train wreck that was the Gambit Prime/Reckoning loop.
