Raids are too glitchy to have a Flawless option
A guess bungie is so bad at making challenging encounters they turned to allowing their raids to be riddled with an infuriating amount of run ending glitches

I have attempted and completed both last wish and sotp flawless. Never once did I die / anyone else in my fire-team on any of the many attempts to a glitch. I suggest looking at team mates that "Died cause of glitches, man" and question them further, I have met these people on LFG and I recommend not wasting your time on them..

4 RespuestasI've done SOTP and COS no problem. I have 3 guitar errors on Last Wish before I said f-uck it. I absolutely consider myself a Rivensbane too.

2 RespuestasWhat glitch are you referring to then? Raid report says you don't have a flawless clear for any D2 raid, what's stopping you from doing SOTP flawless when there aren't any major bugs stopping you? Oh that's right your own skill....

4 RespuestasGot Crown of Sorrow done second attempt. Why second you ask? Because after we cleared the first encounter the only hunter decided to kill himself on the platform hopping before the jumping puzzle. Scourge of the Past took four attempts. Twice we wiped on the boss, once to snipers and once to some moron getting people tethered. Third time our sparrow guys screwed up punching the consoles and died. As for Last Wish.... well let’s just say that one took a good long while to do.

Hell, remember the Praetorian in Vault of Glass that would regenerate its health if you hit it to fast? There are many bugs and glitches, possibly due to load times, but it doesn't mean that the raid is impossible to flawless. Best example is Crown of Sorrow. In Phase 2 Gahlran, the vessels did not spawn after a single use if there wasn't a wipe. This was later fixed. In Last Wish during the Queens Walk encounter, players would get kicked to orbit because of Guitar Error. In Leviathan during the fight with Claus, after you take down all his health, you have to stop damaging him or he'll go immune during his final stand attack. (This happen to me twice during my first Prestige run). Even though what I listed are bugs and glitches it IS still possible to beat them! There was a guide to get Crown of Ease while the vessels bug was still in the game! In the Queens Walk encounter, players found it that all the extra ammo, orbs, and any tracking emblem effected the chances of getting a Guitar error code so the cleared the entire Vault area of everything. And during the Calus fight, people stopped shooting him so that they wouldn't get the bug. There are ways around an unmovable wall my friend.

1 RespuestaI’ve done all the Year 2 Flawlesses multiple times, and while sometimes a bug pops up, it’s by no means a guarantee. While attempting runs, expect weird shit to happen sometimes and roll with it if you can. If not, never expect a one and done

Yeah the raids need to be fixed. But I don't think that means they shouldn't launch with achievements for doing it flawlessly. I think they really just need to put those glitches much higher on the priority list.

18 RespuestasI could agree, but there is no way anything can be glitch free. So. you just have to deal with it. when I was doing flawless last wish, we were at riven and someone got physic'd into the wall and died. we were upset but just re-ran it and got our flawless.

2 RespuestasI hate that two of the three annual pass titles required flawless raids. I wish they had split them into two different titles (one for raid and one for everything else) like they did with the dreaming city. Also, I really hope we get more than just two new titles in shadowkeep... I would hate to just have *generic moon destination title* and *generic garden of salvation raid title*. Hopefully we get one title that requires flawless raid completion (obviously the raid one) and at least 3 other titles that you acquire from other activities (such as strikes and new lore pickups).

74 RespuestasErrr not really? There are currently no glitches preventing a decent team from completing a flawless raid. Thats why a lot of people have their raid titles. I have all 3 :) ... heck I even did my crown flawless while the bug preventing respawning vessels was in the game, but thats fixed now.

2 RespuestasFlawless on the raids are definitely doable. I have flawless badges on raid.report for all of them but specifically for the titles: 2 or 3 runs for Scourge. I got stuck in the tank and nuked with missles. 4 or 5 for queen's walk, 2 were my mistakes (effed up a jump, grabbed a third blight when our rotation got botched) but once we got to vault all was well. Crown, got it first try even though we hit the shield bug on phase 1 and one of our teammates had to go to orbit because he couldn't shed his blessing. These things aren't meant to be easy, they require everyone to be on their game. Yes, weird things can happen but if you have a fireteam member that dies 4 or 5 times a run normally you're going to have a bad time. A good team can adapt to some chaos.

2 Respuestaswent for flawless CoS the other night only to have the deception glitch and his shield became unbreakable...... killed the run and put everyone in a bad mood. Ive done CoS flawless before though.... just not with the challenge active.... Just have it active 24/7, and when the first person dies have the text pop up saying FLAWLESS FAILED like it does for challenges
