Edit: The lack of imagination this company has is hurting the game. I mean think about this, what's new about the bounties in this game that is "fun" that have been the same bounties for 2 years? It's the same nonsense day in day out. This company needs fresh blood that has all of that that is creative, these old-timers need to step down.

I just accepted that it’s a game and not aimed at folks like me, with full time jobs and a family. It used to be a mindless hobby with friends that was pretty accessible, but that’s not true anymore. It’s a video game and the target is teens. I get done the quests I can and resign myself to the fact some things will either a) take a long time if worth it or b) not worth the effort and so I pass. I’ve accepted my time as a completionist has ended. Not that this is good. I fervently wish Bungie didn’t swing so hard in this direction. Sadly, it is what it is. I’ll always be the last to max light. I’ll be the last with the pinnacle weapon. I’ll be late to the exotic quest. And I won’t ever have things like solstice armor because I had to pick and choose what could get my time for effort.

It's a bone they threw us to keep us busy until Shadowkeep. If you don't want to play it then don't. If you don't like the content then don't play it. Quit your whining about it.

i think it was away to introduce players to the new way how destiny is going to be in the future because mr smith did tell us is looking it to making destiny 2 a more grinder game going forward to shadowkeep and i can see it getting far worse in shadowkeep .i if any of you was arround in d1 where you got your gun or armour and you had to grind the perks or spent lots of motes on it i think that is the system they might going back to .

The problem is that you guys worry too much about the grind instead of trying to have fun while doing it. If all you care about is some progress bar and not the shit you're doing, yeah, well no -blam!-ing wonder you hate it. Clearly some of you don't truly like the game, otherwise you'd find the fun throughout. Stop -blam!- please.

This game is so boring, same repetitive strikes, same pvp maps, patrols are boring and useless content, same with public events. Constantly bringing back recycled d1 exotics, half of the guns on console are trash in pvp, 140 and 150 hand cannons are trash in pvp, armour looks ugly. This game needs to be updated regularly with new strikes, pvp maps, exotics, legendarys, story missions, dungeons, etc. So many threads on here with excellent ideas get ignored by cozmo, dmg, but they respond to some stupid ass joke post. Bounties are uninspiring, kill 20 hive, 20 radiant seeds, 100 mini bosses, 10 strikes/gambit/crucible. Removes trials, faction rallies, then never gives any updates about them. Shadow keep will be the same shit we've had for the last 5 years, think its time to move on now.

It's what happens when your development time is used to make a game addicting rather than engaging. Had they bothered to make a good game people would be playing it because it's simply fun to play, and it wouldn't be panned as a joke to the larger gaming community. That hasn't happened though and it doesn't look to be changing any time soon.

I don't know how many times people can be sold the same stuff but Bungie is working on finding out the answer. Here's a gun you already had. Go grind a ton of content you've already done. You're going back to the moon, same but different. No thanks, it's not for me anymore.

Nothing defeats your ambition more than running 10 gambit in a row to complete the green and find out you have to do 10 more for blues. 3 TIMES! You have to do this sh!t with 2 more characters and you will go mental

This company is creatively bankrupt and unbelievably dumb. They do the absolute bare minimum (like only 1 added activity for solstice with recycled enemies) and then they make you run their garbage 100s of times. All of their quests are completely devoid of any inspiration or talent. Must be their shitty hiring practices and work culture.
