So you guys are nerfing the Mountain Top quest after so many of us did it legit? That's a spit in the face.
The Wendigo quest really doesn't need "tuned." It's not hard to play strikes and blow stuff up.

The quest is daf. They made a good move here. You know, youre always welcome to role play your own challenges for the the god roll Misfit you already have.... no? Don't like long dull nonsense quests? Neither does anyone else. And yes I did it the hard way too.

Now it feels less special and yet another handout.

Don't wanna burst your bubble, but a large portion of Mountaintop owners got it from joining a farm lobby where they matched eachother in doubles and just farmed for free. No effort. No realistic way to punish that many people and with the rest of the community saying it's more frustrating than fun, it was only a matter of time before the quest was nerfed.

Your right. I feel that bungie should look at LFG groups doing this and ban them or at least punish this kind of action. It's so lame.

You did. I'm just saying you guys were probably gonna get shafted from the beginning. And I thought you were implying that an overwhelming majority if people got it legit, which just sadly isn't true. It's probably like 50:50. My bad.

No, I have no clue how many people cheesed it. Once I heard about it, I noticed plenty of posts on LFGs and people telling me they did it. In reality, I don't think I can blame them. It was a bit of a grind and seem bugged at times.

I think the biggest issue is that assists didn't count for the muktikills. Really made that part frustrating.

Really made that part frustrating.[/quote] So many times I watched the kill feed and calculated trajectory wouldn't pop even though I had 3 final blows. Sometimes it popped after 2. The double kill medal normally only popped if I did 2 final blows at the same time. Sometimes it would let me get away with it with a few seconds in between kills and sometimes not. I saw some weird shite doing that quest.

If they're making it easier to get, then they are probably gonna nerf it, too. You'll get to have fun with it before that happens.

So what? This is 1000% better than doing the quest and it getting nerfed. You had months to brag that you did the quest, and you STILL can.

I understand the way you feel about mountain top but understand that not everyone is good at PvP. And comp is full on meta so it's basically impossible for someone like me to get it or Lunas. I completed all the steps months ago but can't get the glory and I'm not going to pay a middle man to carry me. I'v tried alot to get better and have improved a lot but it's nothing compared to what some of these players are capable of. I'm happy if I can finish positive and yet I see players going 20+ and 0. I can't touch that. If it's helps any I completed the phantom bow quest in battlefield 4 and then dice gave it away for free in a dlc like 2 months later.

I solo q'ed (can't spell that word) comp till about 1600 and got help with the last 5XX. I was on track to get to 2100 solo q'ing by the end of the season just by playing 3 games a week The GL part I did all with Fighting Lion and Militias Birthright in QP and mayhem; took awhile but I got there. Some of the medals don't register because of classic Bungie. If you or anyone wants to do it, but needs help with comp, there are a number of people on twitch with very few viewers that will help for free or there's discord.

I went in with a fireteam and farmed the Lake of Shadows strike. The 3 lost sectors in Trostland. We got it done in about 4-5 hours. Not going that crazy with the grind you could get it done in a few days. It didn't need to be changed
