unless they completely restructure the loot progression and balancing that destiny has been using since the start bungie should be aware that adopting the same grind you find in these mmos is only going to turn away many dedicated and also turn away newcomers.
the only thing that is awarded to the players for consistent and dedicated play of bungies daily "chores" is an opportunity to complete collections.that alone is not enough
mmos mostly have loot and power progression and most importantly a list of ongoing end game activities that incentive our coming back to grind it out. once your ready to raid and have done it what else is there in end game?
this is my opinion, my take but looking at recent feedback posts it appears i am not alone
look i know that player engagement is a must to keep the game alive but the excessive grind bungie has been implementing is not painting the game in a positive light.
when you put in the collection tab and triumphs those worked well for those who wanted to quest for those but this was a system and grind that wasn't in the players face however now it's like with each new season or event the excessive grind is shoved into the foreground. this is where i believe adjustments are needed
just look at the summer event just like the others a long list of "chores", some of which push us into to parts of the game we may not enjoy all that much i.e. pvp/gambit, for small short lived pay out.

Dude it’s just a game. Games are meant to absorb time and have fun.
