All the best for launch day too :)

7 RespuestasThis dlc is going to be so much better now with those extra two weeks. I bet there adding so many cool things.
-
5 RespuestasWhat could they possibly do in two weeks though? It takes them 3 months for one sandbox update. This delay isn’t to make it “fantastic”, its to avoid Borderlands 3 and the new Monster Hunter DLC.
-
7 RespuestasIt's because of Borderlands 3, not making a quality product
-
1 RespuestaYou really thing 2 week will solve and serious problems they have with new light? Better experience sure... More likely they want 2 more weeks so people can finish borderlands 3. D2 going f2p and having a new expansion will not compete with the hype for bl3.
-
11 Respuestaslol. Thinking 2 weeks will make a difference. They know they can't go head to head with Borderlands 3.
-
5 Respuestas- No solstice bright engrams - No eververse cosmetics from solstice packages - eververse cosmetics more expensive each season Activision free Bei-bee
-
2 RespuestasI'm not convinced this delay is just to smooth things out. Bl3 releases around the same time as shadowkeep would have...

Editado por Forest: 8/2/2019 8:02:38 PMFirst off it wasn't 100% Activision. Please stop buying into that excuse. Second a delayed launch can be good OR bad. If Bungie gives us details on why it is delayed ok it can be good but as usual Bungie is giving out little info pushing people to the side of this is a bad thing. As many have been pointing out Borderlands 3 is set to launch around Shadowkeep. Is it just a weird timing ? Maybe. Is it Bungie trying not to launch around the same time as their competitor ? Also a maybe.

Editado por BegFourMercy: 8/2/2019 7:43:56 PMThey forgot Tess was on vacation. And that is the only way to play everything in ShadowSheep.
-
2 weeks is like 1 sprint. Not much to really work on in 1 sprint. I don’t buy the “polishing” reason. B3 makes more sense
-
9 RespuestasIt takes Bungie an eternity to fix things. I've never seen them patch bugs that quick unless it something that severely affected gameplay and then would create 2 more bugs.
-
2 RespuestasWell... better a delay than an Anthem like release that is for certain, that said, lets no sing praise to soon shall we? Also it shows how sad of a state gaming is in when people see a delay as something worth of applauding [insert old man picture] back in my day it was the normal and expected thing to do, not something worth praise. Just to clarify, i have no issue with it being delayed. PS: Would it be asking for to much for redesigned armors? those may fit the theme but they are efing Ugly and we have too many of those and very, very little of decent looking ones... umm its meant to work with the eververse and ornaments system that will come with the DLC? But hey its just a opinion, i am certain that there is a guardian out there somewhere that digs the scraps and re-purposed trashed clothing theme D2 went with.
-
2 RespuestasObviously it has nothing to do with the main game content. Bungie probably delayed it because there was issues with the Eververse content.
-
1 RespuestaBetter experience? You mean more players after they are done with borderlands 3 right? Let’s not beat around the bush, releasing shadowkeep at same time as BL3 is an awful idea so by delaying it TIL after we can hope for more peeps playing destiny and maybe even getting shadowkeep (I for one will wait for reviews on shadowkeep as bungie has burned us anough times with destiny)
-
Shadowkeep is delayed because they havent found a fix for the Crucible bugs.

1 RespuestaYou know, I am gonna say this until I am blue in the face, but Bungie has been shit with deadlines forever. Activision, for all their faults as a publisher, was actually pretty lenient with Bungie. They gave them extensions on both D1 and D2, after Bungie blew up development on both games; they gave them Vicarious Visions and High Noon Studios to help on D2, especially on Forsaken, and essentially bent over backwards to make sure Bungie put something out. Did they ask for Bungie to hit target dates? Yeah. Because Bungie was contractually obligated to. You know what they didn't do? Tell Bungie to get rid of the Vanilla D1 story. Tell Bungie to cut content and put it into DLCs. Tell Bungie to make D2 cater to casuals. Tell Bungie to make Eververse. All those calls were Bungie, and I know, I'll get downvoted into oblivion, but, ya know, facts. Bungie leaning on "we're without Activision, just watch us now" only works until I remember that, yeah, they buggered development on Halo 2 as well. If they keep thinking they can get away with shit because the forums will buy "Activision did the bad stuff", well, drop a subpar Shadowkeep and see how that works.

25 RespuestasIs there any Kool Aid left?
-
26 RespuestasYou are a dumbass to drink the "Activision was the problem" punch. It's Bungie. Turns out with less resources their shit runs even worse. It's almost like they're a bad studio.
-
Not to be pessimistic but plenty of games have been delayed and still come out undercooked. Idk if shadowkeep will be but it’s possible
-
20 RespuestasThat remains to be seen. Yes, it's better to take the time, but what Bungie does with that time will determine whether it was worth it or not.
-
4 RespuestasAmazing, I go on twitter, people support the decision. I go on reddit, people support the decision. I come here, and read all the comments to this post. lol. Couple things, activation free means bungie can decide when the game is ready to release. This is a good thing, better for Bungie to take more time, then have to rush out a game to make a deadline set by their overlords. Release date delays are very common in the industry, and a lot of top notch studios delay their games to make sure the final product is good. 2 weeks sounds like they just want a little more time testing systems or sandbox with all the massive changes coming to the game. Seems like a smart, thoughtful decision to me.
-
1 RespuestaPlus October is spooky month so we going to have maximum moon haunting!
-
The comments in these posts are always so disappointing. Some people (you know who you are) just come in here and their only arguement is "You're wrong. Bungie sucks." They speak as if their opinions are fact and all others are irrelevant. Arrogance and just downright disrespect have flooded these forums.
-
1 RespuestaI think it's great, I can play borderlands for a bit, and they can improve the dlc
-
Agreed. Takes a lot of courage to move a release date, I respect anyone who does it in order to put out a better product.
