As a die-hard Titan main since the very, very beginning - I have to only half-agree that it needs to be nerfed.
Yes, the amount of energy you get back from a kill is overtuned. I've gotten ~10 kills with a single activation on numerous occasions... but it shouldn't be nerfed in to the tomb.
Titans already have literally no options when it comes to supers - top and middle tree Striker are laughably bad. Bottom and middle tree Hammer of Sol are laughably bad, and middle and top tree Sentinel are laughably bad. We'd be right back at square one with Titans remaining to be, by far, the least played class in the game.
We already have the worst jumping ability in the game, and the worst class ability in the game. We have severely neutered supers that pale in comparison to their other-class counterparts (this is where the Hammers is a neutered Dawnblade comes in) and destroying bottom tree striker without compensating with the other supers would just create the same power vacuum there was before it.

Editado por Daylight Begins: 7/23/2019 10:00:36 PMI've said it a bunch of times. If trample were moved to an exotic chest peice it would balance the class, provide competition for oem, and allow for another neutral game perk to be added. All while allowing the super to be just as good as it is now, but with a tradeoff. Also, titans have the best jump by far in terms of speed and barricade is not bad at all when used correctly .
-
I don't think 'Trample' needs to be moved, it just needs to restore less energy similar to how they hotfixed Spectral Blades. Putting it on to an Exotic would result in the entire tree becoming useless unless you had and used said exotic - because you could run the better-perked top tree to the same effect. Titans do not have the best jump, I'm not sure where you heard this or got this information. Warlocks have the two *fastest jumps in the game, being Burst Glide and Blink - the only time Titans can be faster in Destiny 2 is if you use macros on PC which can get you banned. Hunters have the two *most controllable jumps in the game, especially with Stompees - they're able to change direction immediately and even bait edges due to having up to three double jumps. Titans have the *highest height jump in the game, if you run left-side Lift, but it's literally pointless as it doesn't come in handy anywhere. Strafe Lift is your best option, catapult is useless - and even with Strafe you still have barely any control of which direction you're going.
-
Titans jump provides the fastest forward movement that I am aware of
-
Unfortunately not, that belongs to the Warlocks with 'Burst Glide'. Jump, boost, then cancel half a second after and you get a huge boost in forward momentum. Titans have the same momentum when jumping as they do running.
-
Really, hmm. Maybe it's just cuz warlocks jump is so bad for crucible that I don't really see it in action

Bottom tree Hammer is really good, actually. If you actually used it instead of being a hammer strike bot you'd know this. Same for Middle tree Striker. Its really solid. Inertia Override is really good. Top tree Sentinel is the better of all the trees. Getting 2 different supers for the price of 1 is really good. Health regeneration on all melee kills. Middle tree Sentinel is also very good. The big shield comes in very handy. And Bottom tree Sentinel is pretty alright, lets you become a super machine when combining it with Doom Fangs. Titan's aren't as bad as you think they are. They're actually fairly strong right now all around, not just in Juggernaut Striker. You dont sound like the die hard Titan main you claim to be in terms of class knowledge, because if you were you wouldn't be calling bottom tree Hammers bad. Or saying top tree Sentinel bad either.

Hammers Siegebreaker can have it's good moments, but for the most part they're obscured by simply running the top tree. Talking in terms of PvE, Siegebreaker is default outclassed by Fire Forged due to Melting Point. It becomes additionally outclassed because Fire Forged also gives the hammers tracking, and provides a triangular AoE upon impact (enemies killed by said hammer or discharges also explode in solar energy, chaining.) Talking in terms of PvP, Siegebreaker only has it's niche opportunities to shine and that's when and/or if Sunspots can be abused against certain teams. As long as opponents have any game sense or knowledge, they'll know to simply goad you out of your sunspot, or just leave the area and pressure others while you camp on it. These hammers also have no tracking, no AoE and only have a longer duration if you're standing in the spots. Burning Maul... well, it's only viable if you spam the Heavy Attack - doing so limits you to standing perfectly still, and while it's rewarded with a heavy tracking on it's attack, it can literally be bunny-hopped over, thus nullifying it completely. Striker Thundercrash being good? You've got to be joking me. Would you please enlighten me as to why you think it's such a strong class if it's literally the second least played subclass in the entire game? The only class that's played less than it is Siegebreaker, which you also say to be good. (You probably watched TV's video on it and assume it's good.) Using Thundercrash is an extremely risky super with little-to-no reward. Often times you'll find yourself limited to either shutting down a super (if you hit them.) or a single kill/no kill before you die because you're now square in the face of enemies with your gun stowed. This super can both be heard and seen coming from a mile away, and enemies with even some game sense will know to just run underneath and past you, or walk around a corner because the turn radius while in this super is practically non existent. Sentinel There are many, many others out there - titan main or not - that all speak the fact that if you're running Ward of Dawn, you're probably trolling. None of this trees perks are good at all (and there is no regeneration on it, it's an overshield). You get a single shield to throw, and then have to rely on the awful Sentinel melee hit registration. I won't even explain why Code of the Commander is bad in PvP because it's exactly the same reason as Ward of Dawn. The reason any Sentinel who wants to be competitive should run bottom tree is because you get two shield throw charges, you get a shoulder charge ability, and you get bonus energy to another shield throw charge if your shield kills targets. These shields have immense tracking and bounce and are capable of wiping entire teams with a single toss. You will not have to use the melee attack unless someone is in your face in this case. But, please; I would love to know how you - someone who barely plays PvP - knows full well about how "strong" Titans are, when they're still the least played class in PvP as a whole, while sporting THREE of the least played subclasses in the entire game.

I dont think it needs a nerf give the gwisin vest back the amount of super energy it use to get back or lower the heavy and light att cost
-
Actually middle tree hammers is extremely underrated. Just don’t use the light attack. The initial slam has a good AOE effect and the fire tornado has very good tracking.
-
It's not underrated, it's just not viable. Burning Maul is the third least played subclass in the game. In fact, Titans have three of the least played subclasses. 1. Siegebreaker 2. Thundercrash 3. Burning Maul Yes, the tracking on the flame trail is excellent - but it's hitbox is also incredibly small and parallel with the ground. It can literally be bunny hopped over, or simply take cover from because it detonates on hitting even the slightest geometry. Spamming said RT attack also limits you to standing perfectly still, begging to be nova bombed or killed in any way (double fusion, double snipe.)
-
Some might even venture to say that it has insanely dumb/mildly-inescapable tracking
