I get all my socializing here
I have a job and I have a wife and kid....but I have no acquaintances to have conversations with.
So I come here to Offtopic and poke around, reply to a few things and read as I sip on some good coffee. I may not understand some of the nutty topics but you guys keep it lively.

I’m the same (married with a kid) - and while I do have plenty of friends they also have families and kids of their own. As you get older and have kids you tend to socialize less often. I used to go out with friends all the time - now a days we usually just stay at home. Last time we went out with friends (that didn’t involve kids parties) was about a month ago. It’s just a part of getting older I think.
