Well I got birthright with spike grenades. QuickDraw and snap shot.
I got a hero’s burden with zen moment, tap the trigger, ricochet rounds and range masterwork. I tried it in crucible and it was very nice to get Thorn quest done. I need to slap a counterbalance mod on it and upgrade it.

Put a mod on it and never look back. That smg is a serious work horse. I believe that people don't actually try out diversity in their builds which makes them seel bound to have to get a particular gun. There will always be alternatives available to help achieve the same or a similar result.

I especially watch if someone consistently shreds in crucible that isn’t using the meta. I was getting my butt kicked by a guy using an smg but I know what recluse sound like (died so much by that thing) but this sounded different. I check and it’s hero’s burden. Can’t recall the perks but I checked and found i had two. Tried both out and kept this one. Helped me get the last 50% of my thorn kills. Pretty accurate at range and I can hold it on target.

It was my go to in year 1. I ended up making it solar for some strange reason back then and kept it. I took it into crucible not long ago and caught people off guard with it lol. You're motivating me to make a post on non-meta weapons that people use. I'm reallh curious now.

I'm reallh curious now.[/quote] I would like to try for mountain top and recluse but the time and frustration is a pain of course. I got friends who have it that would gladly help me grind for it but they are definitely pinnacle weapons. Showing good alternatives would be great. I got wendigo but I may have deleted a swarm GL with spike grenades before realizing they were so good now. I got a decent one with proximity for add clearing but prefer wendigo. Knowing good alternatives would help in my view.
