38 RespuestasFor clarification, 1. Rick Kackis is a badass 2. This was some silly jabbing that we had moments before meeting up for a few drinks and war stories 3. His videos are going to be pretty valuable to new players coming in for New Light I think that's something that players miss frequently. You, the hardcore/semi-casual player who knows most of the ins/outs of Destiny 2 don't need 12 minutes to understand a quest or an activity. A new player who's never dabbled in games like this may actually appreciate the time he takes to cover the content. Let's say you have someone who just kicked off their first character for Red War, and they've just seen a Lumina in Crucible. What is it? How does it work? Where do I get it? What are tips and tricks to get this thing? A one minute video may not give them the info they need. Sure, there are times that even I watch a clip and think "well, you could have jumped through that" or "this could've been a few minutes shorter" - but this is his style. It's also a source of revenue for him, so I'm not going to knock him. Gotta pay bills, be able to see doctors, and have money to support a family. If you don't like it, don't watch it. And frankly, if you feel the need to make a thread about how much you dislike his youtube videos, I highly suggest... not doing that. If you feel his videos are too long and take your time, why spend that same time on a negative forum post? It's a waste. Spend it slaying aliens and wielding space magic in Destiny 2, or guiding players through a raid. That said, much love to Kackis and all of the folks on our forums who take the time to explain systems and quests for Destiny 2 to new players. That's something I love about community, and will always support.

10 RespuestasTo be fair, Rick helps thousands of people out with his videos and if he has to lengthen them a bit to make a sliver of cash for the amount of work he puts in, more power to him. Quite ironic of a Bungie employee accusing someone one of artificially lengthening content when that’s basically the entirety of Destiny 😂

Besides his blandness and hard annunciation of every single word, his vids ARE terribly long and he's equally terrible at explaining/showing mechanics. His biggest selling point though is how quickly he pushes content out. #qualityoverquantity

At least Khackis is better than More Console. He's so stupid and trying so hard to be a comedian I had to unsubscribe from the constant idiocy from that clown. Houndish is boring and redundant, and his monotone annoying voice makes me want to throw my phone against a wall. Mesa Sean is the best streamer right now IMO.
