Why do so many people in the communinty hate the idea of streamers?
The only event that took place this year that was out of reach for the average player was Niobe Labs. Everything else is pretty accessible to most players.

They don't play for fun but for an income and they'll use for every horrible opinion they have and bungie will listen to them because they're now the audience. You seen how the shoved them in vidoc before and invite them to help them ruin the game even more for the actual players. Just something you gotta deal with.

I like some but the pvp ones are becoming unbearable at the moment. They all seem to be hunting for the next thing to nerf.

Even though I don’t share the view entirely, I believe some people see the viewpoints of streamers as biased towards content creation and ‘Twitch friendly’ activities rather than what is actually good for the game. I enjoy the streamers/YouTubers that present both viewpoints of an issue rather than trying to influence viewers to share their opinion. Streamers have been good for Destiny in general and it’s good that Bungie is opening up the summit to ‘average’ players now as well so their viewpoint can be conveyed also.

People still stream this game?

everything is accessible to all players so long as you bought the game and commit and make time for it. That is all.

2 RespuestasBecause the kids who dislike streamers have a bad case of the no skill.
-
5 RespuestasBecause they have this stupid theory that streamers ruined the game in a scheme to make more money. But after the upcoming summit they won't have that excuse anymore

4 RespuestasEditado por Neuro Pixel: 6/29/2019 1:50:27 AMThe majority of the player base hate the streamers because they have and still try to dictate to Bungie how the game should move forward ... They get paid , sponsored or given something to promote the game from a biased or directed perspective.. The other thing is there is the hardcore sweaty PVP players who try to dictate to the PVE audience the direction of the game which purposely is setting it up to exclude them thus causing a segregation of the community.. They did this by telling Bungie 4v4 in crucible quickplay .. they do this by wanting op pinnacle weapons in comp but constantly play in quickplay list just to pubstomp the casual or average players.. Streamers need to be removed from the game and any summit , info sessions that Bungie hold .. Their input needs to be muted..

People don’t like the history of Bungie catering to streamers, who lobby for changes that benefit them instead of the average player.

I don’t understand it, personally. People take Streamers going as some insult because I guess that somehow means the entire game is built around streamers? Streamers talk about Destiny and how it is at lower levels for players who don’t play every day. But people think they’re all in it for themselves, in an ironic self-projection.
