Bungie, in Comp, please punish people that jump off the edge to avoid supers in control and clash.
There is no in-game repercussion for suiciding in order to get away from a roaming super, and there needs to be. It is among the most gutless, cowardly, and reprehensible behaviors I've ever had the displeasure of encountering, and there is no down side to acting like this.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that hates this behavior, and mine is probably only one in a long line of complaints, but the fact that it's still done should say all that needs to be said.

If I see a sweaty pubstomping hunter main charging at me with spectral blades while backed by his shotgunning teammates, first thing I'm doing is jumping off the closest ledge idc
-
You're gutless for playing this garbage.
-
Why do you care? If you're winning.... take the W and chill out.
-
1 RespuestaI never intentionally jump off of maps. I hate to admit it, but I usually work myself off the map at least once every 3 matches or so. Great awareness...lol
-
1 RespuestaLOL If jumping off an edge makes a pub stomping sweaty elitist coward unhappy then let the jumping commence
-
Based on the comments below, i petition that we just remove supers from competitive. However, i have a feeling that everybody that is saying they "jump off the map to avoid supers" probably don't want supers removed because they don't understand their own viewpoints. Destiny 2 community in a nut shell.

1 RespuestaListen man, if you and your whole team is about to obliterate me with supers, and I see an opportunity to jump, im doing it
-
9 RespuestasYou complain about edge jumpers , who are only trying to stop the elite sweaty pumstompers from getting away with more cheap kills to boost their kdr and impress their blowup girlfriends ... Try worrying about matchmaking , clan stacks v single , lord of the wolves being used on mass in comp.. Jump off the edge people do not give sweatys cheap kills
-
3 RespuestasNah I do this all the time. It’s well funny
-
20 RespuestasNot until they give us a more reliable way to challenge super. At the moment, killing yourself is the only consistently effective counter.

31 RespuestasEditado por GiiantTurtleWave: 6/26/2019 3:36:19 PMIf I see a roaming super heading towards me that I can’t outplay or kill then off the edge I go!
-
1 RespuestaBoy if you’re coming at me with a super I’m jumping off that edge no f.u.c.k.s given
-
If supers weren’t almost unstoppable monsters in most situations in Comp then I could understand this attitude. At the moment it seems someone lost a game by a few points and blames it on edge jumpers.

I used to be against edge jumping until I started really playing Comp. Now that I've got 20 something games under my belt, I'm all for it. It's the least of Comps worries. Matchmaking is horrendous. Maybe Bungie could fix that first.

3 RespuestasEditado por may967873: 6/26/2019 4:55:51 PMIt’s a smart move, I done it to win games in comp that we won by 1 or 2 points. Sorry I’m not gonna let you win cause you saved your OP roaming super for a cheap win
-
2 RespuestasEditado por Haunter: 6/26/2019 5:04:28 PMYou should absolutely go -1 per suicide Had a game of comp on endless vale where we made a comeback and were down by 1 only for the enemy team to repeatedly suicide until it went to time. Completely broken and an exploit that needs addressing
-
Coward? You serious? If you die to a super you literally feed the enemy team orbs of light which in turn allows their other teammates to start spamming supers on your ass. How stupid are you? Suiciding because most players cant 1v1 a super is the smartest thing they can do. Anyone with even half a brain knows that. You want these players to get punished? Lol, how about we punish players that use supers in front of a 1v6? Right now anyone can pop a super in front of 3-4 people and manage to kill them all. This was not the case in D1. In D1 players had only a small amount of armor, not the insane amount we have right now.

1 RespuestaEditado por Barhebraeus: 6/26/2019 5:58:36 PMAs long as the broken matchmaking exists and they put me up against far more skilled players who have NF, Recluse, etc, when I've never gotten beyond Brave 3, I'll be jumping off of edges ... why should I let a team of NF users chain-super me into oblivion? Fix the matchmaking first, then the details of gameplay and execution ...

2 RespuestasNo. Comp suspension is punishment enough. If a player suicides...meh. If I'm with 3 blueberries getting crushed in count down...guess where I'm going at the get go? Off the side of a f**kin' ledge! I don't need the stress, and I can't jump to orbit because of the comp suspension. Stupid blueberries who can't hold their own...and who might be 7 years old because bad parents who can't see "T for Teens". F**k 'em.
-
if bliz didn't want peeps to be able to suicide, they'd put invisible walls up around the maps blocking it from happening
-
Huh, I didn't know other people did this! I'm glad I'm picked up on something and improved my pvp game by denying the enemy a super kill! I'm usually pretty good at baiting out others and having them waist it on chasing me. And either they kill just me or no one heh. Why op doesn't make much sense I'm glad I at least learned I'm doing good ^^
-
Are you serious right now? Considering supers have almost no counters in pvp right now. You want them to stand there and die when a timmy no skill pops his i win button. Yeah no.
-
Considering it's a mode where wins only matter, I won't blame them for playing cheap. I'll jump off should a returning super come back to kill me for the second time.
-
1 RespuestaOther games give -1 or -2 to score when suiciding. It's so fng lame people do this
-
3 RespuestasThis is so stupid 😂😂😂 Option a) Be killed by a super giving the enemy a point. Option b) Kill yourself and deny the enemy point. *think think think* Wouldn’t call it cowardly, I’d call it strategic.
