There are 3 types of guys that I hate to run across in destiny. Sadly, those 3 types of players make up the entire player base. Firstly, I’m going to admit that I despise people in general. I’m a very polite person because I feel like I have to be. It’s how I was raised. But there are moments when I lose my cool on someone (who deserves it) and begin shouting the most awful possible things that pop into my head. These are my 3 guys:
1. The pve overlord.
- this guy has over a billion and a half raid clears. He’s a self proclaimed “Sherpa”. He tells convenient lies about his great accomplishments. He may or may not be skilled at the game, but I usually can’t tell past his incessant ramblings about all of his (false) accomplishments. He makes everyone feel very uncomfortable in the raid. He joins someone else’s raid group, and immediately assigns himself LORD COMMANDER. He is impatient and “alpha male”. He almost gets offended if someone joined and hasn’t memorized his strategy for an encounter. He assumes everyone in this LFG FIRETEAM of guys who have NEVER PLAYED TOGETHER BEFORE are going to magically 1-phase every encounter. I usually end up cussing this guy out for being a douche to one of the more “nooby” players in the group. (Side-note: yes, I have been booted from many fireteams for taking a stand against guys like this, and engaging in a shouting match where I call them as many curse words as I can muster before being removed from the party.)
2. The streamer fanboii
- this guy shares a lot of traits with the pve overlord, but he’s kinda passive aggressive. He too has millions of raid clears. He talks way too much and very clearly thinks he is almost a god. These guys usually sound about 17 and have a very “nasaly” voice, and they say the same weird quirky things you would typically hear streamers say like “luhmaoww” (the 2019 stylized version of “lmao”), “Rip”, and they try to make as many “bungo” jokes as humanly possible. They like to talk about elite strats and like to let everyone know that they have every statistic about everything in destiny completely memorized. They commonly refer to guys like gladd and datto as if they were very close friends. Basically they talk way too much, and they passively “flex” on everyone at every chance they get. Any time someone asks a question about something, they almost cut them off to ensure that they are the sole information provider. I like to try to cut these guys off to get under their skin and see if they’ll try to correct me, mostly because they get under my skin to be honest. Yeah, I don’t like these guys.
3. The pvp chad
- thinking of what to type about these guys just boils my blood. They have a 20.0 kd. They know it and everyone else knows it. They send messages. They taunt. They think they are god. They keep repeating the same phrases: “you’re trash”, “hit your shots”, their #1 insult is referring to their opponent as “kid”. If I could wish away any group of people in the world, it would be this group. You can not argue with these guys. They will simply talk louder. Think of a guy from 2009 wearing an oh so slightly too tight affliction/ed hardy shirt driving a mustang or a Camaro, and you’re on the right track. These guys either speak exactly like nkuch or 2chainz. There is no in-between. They only come in two forms, and they’re both equally detestable.
If you fall under one of those categories, I hope I never have to meet you. But just so there is some context and just so you don’t assume I simply hate everyone, I will now list the types of player I actually DON’T hate:
1. Literally any Australians.
2. Most Scottish players.
3. Squeakers.
- this one may come as a shock, but there is a sense of innocence to them, and I don’t hold the random weird crap they say against them. I know they’re a bit loose cannon, but they are honestly just oblivious, and sometimes they are accidentally hilarious.
4. Titan mains.

1 RespuestaEvery d bag pvp chad reminds me of that girls brother on stranger things billy.....mullet...mustache.....camaro driving d bag

6 RespuestasThe pve tryhards are weirdos but the absolute worst type of player is a gambit tryhard.
-
4. Titan mains these players are not good at destiny, just saying. :/
-
2 RespuestasIm Australian. I find it odd you don't hate us. We are some of the most toxic pvp players in the game
-
2 RespuestasEditado por SwankyButters: 6/26/2019 8:02:36 AMI don't PvP so I can't speak on that but the first two parts of your raiding experience is the reason I haven't raided Since D1... I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a fork... PS: All the down votes say everything you need to know about the D community.

"I'm a calm and polite person" "I get in screaming matches where I violently curse out people who are mildly rude to me" Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhh, ok
-
5 RespuestasTechnically there's two types of people in this game. 1. Those who can extrapolate meaning from incomplete data.

People will always act out there character. Perhaps instead of being irritated with them see them as lessons for yourself and ask yourself " what do you think you are here to learn from them?, Patience or tolerance???

2 RespuestasThe players I hate are the ones that write a wall of self indulgent crap that I can't be bothered to read.

12 Respuestas
I will now list the types of player I actually DON’T hate: ... 4. Titan mains.
Agreed with you up to this point. We are now mortal enemies. Death to all Titan mains.

RIP I'm all 3

I think we could be friends

you're trash, kid

9 RespuestasI was almost getting ready to have a laugh until you shoved your discrimination of australians in everyone’s face. You might want to brush up on the code of conduct before the shit hits the fan
-
2 RespuestasBut Australians are (typically) loud and obnoxious with an accent that shatters eardrums.
-
7 RespuestasPffft, all about that triumph score. Very few people raid consistently
-
Wait a minute... ...So you’re telling me you can actually use mics with this game?!?
-
Editado por l Xemnas: 6/26/2019 9:37:20 AMMeh only ones i cant deal with are the ones who make annoying noises in the mic. Then again as you can see... I dont raid too much in d2
-
Agreed on a lot of this. I would add a 4th one and that is the Bungie Fan Boy Defender. No matter how bad, wrong or messed up something is in the game, and even if they know it, these people will come and defend bungie everytime no matter how right you are about something. It's really irritating when you see this from a player who has played destiny for like only a year. Everyone has a right to opinions yes, and I have always loved bungie. But sometimes bungie screws up bigtime.

1 RespuestaFor me I just hate people don't don't know how to lose in an argument and come up with terrible combacks
-
Not gonna say you're wrong, but definitely a pessimist. Afraid making a post like this is pretty pointless though. What exactly was your goal here?

5 Respuestassomeone needs a hug.

Editado por Six: 6/26/2019 3:20:15 AMThis......is great. You pissed off 99% of the player base, so kudos to you. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. You get an upvote from me most definitely.

Thanks mate

Editado por Twist Ledgendz: 6/26/2019 3:13:17 AMI don't claim to be a PvE overlord... I rarely raid due to the logic of some people in LFG, I've played as a hunter since the d1 beta and not everyone who falls under those 3 are bad people. I've met some aggressive PvP and PvE players, the true scum of the game. But I've also met some people who are pleasant in PvE and PvP. I don't know every raid encounters... as a matter of fact I try to join teams to learn the mechanics so I can pull my own weight in future raids. As for my mentality if someone asks me for help with PvE content I'll gladly drop what I was doing solo and help people out. I've helped newer guardians through stories, nightfalls and a raid or two. I'm trying to give back some nice deeds to the community, as I'm on console ( specifically the xbox one ) I don't run into the streamer fan boys often but dam... when I do they are one of the few players I don't talk to because they say " datto's strategy works better imo " or " your gun isn't optimal " like I understand you think you know what you're saying but my God, I've just carried you through a nightfall at 100k and you complain about the gear u use? It's all down to personal preference mate, I dislike the majority of PvP players as they think they are gods gift... using shotguns 1 shooting you at ranges even a warlocks melee wouldn't hit... ooop of topic. When you kill them with another weapon they flip, send hate mail and ask for a 1v1... a 1v1? This isn't modern warfare 2 mate. It usually ends in a party inv with lots of "ur bad kid and get good scrub ". Ah they take the Micky. But there is always those shinning stars... those few who aren't complete A holes. There will always be good people and bad people just remember that. Also saying you are probably the nicest guy in the world... people don't take that as it is, your opinion of yourself could be different from what everyone else thinks. Just be yourself, nothing more nothing less
