Because it totally doesn't work in other games with raids just fine and Guided Games runs totally weren't successful... 👍

Guided games was a unmitigated disaster from the moment they were released. and that is a proven fact as even today barely anyone even uses it. even for the nightfall which is REALLY easy.

Guided games have a unspoken expectation too. If you're queueing up for guided games, you are expected to accept any invitation to whatever voice chat they throw to you. In normal MM, you aren't. I could see it now for raids, people load in, invite everyone... 3 people join. Well now you have to go back to orbit, find another raid session. Group won't join your calls? Looks like you gotta go back to orbit and try again.

And which of those games run like destiny? Not many I would imagine. Mechanically heavy/communication heavy raid settings fail horribly in matchmade teams. Perfect example: Heists in GTA Online. Try running those with randos, you will lose more of your will to live every second.

ROFL try playing other games with it before asking ridiculous questions like this. A 25 player mm raid in WoW is infinitely more complex than any Destiny raid encounter. Hell, every single Y2 raid has been 2 manned the second week they were out, but a team that forms through an in-game system couldn't beat them? Get right TFO with that garbage.

Along with my previous reply, I would also like to mention that the people two manning these raids just so happen to be well known pve-gods. It was by no means easy, and probably took a large amount of attempts.

The fun thing about WoW and Destiny is that they are different games, with different playerbases. The people actually playing WoW have sunk a vast amount of hours in, and everybody knows what they are doing well enough to actually handle something of that scale. The same does not go for destiny. Destiny is much closer to GTA in that respect.
