Exotic Concepts

Hunter Helmet: Owl Sector Visor Perk: The Owl- Highlights recent tracks from nearby enemies. Precision kills reload the currently equipped weapon and automatically picks up any ammo dropped. Crouching in place for a short time grants a brief period of invisibility. Titan Gauntlets: Gladiator’s Resolve Perk: Gladiator’s Resolve- Ward of Dawn is a smaller, mobile fortress with greatly increased strength and durability. Activate again to unleash a void explosion that violently pushes enemies back with force and makes them more vulnerable to kinetic damage for a short time. Increased resistance to melee attacks. Warlock Chest: Robes of the Osiris Cultist Perk: Blessing of Osiris- Ability Kills create Radiolarian pools where the enemy was killed. If Super is full on death, activate to resurrect yourself in Super at the cost of half your energy. Notes on Exotics: - The tracking in Owl Sector Visor will show tracks similarly to the tracks that Supers already make, and like those Super tracks, they will fade after a short period of time. Whenever a precision kill is made, your weapon is automatically reloaded from reserves and any ammo dropped from the enemy that was killed will automatically go straight to your inventory. However in Crucible, you must get final blow to pick up ammo and you are still required to rush over to heavy in order to pick it up. The invisibility works similarly to the Stalker ability from D1. - Gladiator’s Resolve will cause Ward of Dawn to work similarly to what it was first shown to be like, a one man impenetrable fortress. However, the user will still be unable to fire through the Ward. Instead, Ward of Dawn has its durability and strength increased so much that it will be able to tank 2 Celestials, 2 Nova Bomb, and 2 Blade Barrages all at once and not be destroyed. The Titan will be virtually unkillable. Also, movement is restricted, so no sprinting or Lift. As a means of offense, the Titan will be able to detonate the Ward, unleashing a violent blast that knocks back enemies and will make them vulnerable to kinetic damage. As for the increased melee resistance, you’ll be able to tank an extra melee attack in Crucible. - Robes of the Osiris Cultist will create Radiolarian pools through any ability kill. The pools will last for a solid 20 seconds or so and do as much damage as the ones the Vex have. It will also allow the Warlock to resurrect themselves from death and straight into Super similarly to Fireborn in D1. However, you will not be resurrected at full energy and will only be given half as much energy.

  • String theory: A bow with high but flat damage. Can’t land critical hits, but anywhere hit does significant damage. Collective series helmets. One is made for each class. Each fire team member that has a collective helmet on shares a singular health bar. Damage to anyone linked by the collective is shared with the collective, but in turn their shared health pool is harder to drain. (Death to one member is death to all members) Rock: a hand cannon designed that gets a massive buff against auto rifle users (reduced damage to other weapons) Paper: A pulse rifle that gets a massive buff against hand cannon users (reduced damage to other weapons) Scissors: A auto rifle that gets a massive buff against pulse rifle users.(reduced damage to other users)

    • Good exotic Ideas... although I think theyre all a bit too broken. For Hunter, reloading Unequipped Weapons and adding Ammo** to your magazine would suffice. For Titan, having he Bubble Shield just have the same durability as regular Ward of Dawn would suffice And for Warlock, Im not sure... What about, Respawning with like 66%-75% of your Super (otherwise Nova Warp is Useless) but in exchange, spawning without your Overshield/Damage Resistance (at normal Guardian Levels) And if you have a Cast super (nova bomb, chaos reach) you still spawn with that Super Energy, just not in your Super.

    • I'm surprised I'm the only one that's said this, but the notes for the Titan exotic confirm that it would be extremely broken, like, on a level we've never seen

        • What's the point if they all gonna get nerfed to the ground. Cool ideas, and frankly the community does a better job coming up with good ideas, but I rather not hope and dream about something thatll never come, and if it does? A month or so down the road, gets nerfed
