In 5 years I have never muted anyone up until recently and that has been 20 gamers so far. Now before a mod comes on this post saying that all of them "follow the rules". I can prove right now that that is (not true at all) because screenshots don't lie, and some of them should be removed from this forum or disciplined because [b](they're part of the actual problem with this forum.)[/b] Playing favoritism is unacceptable and they have allowed certain gamers to abuse others on this forum for the last year or so with no discipline at all, and even when being reported 15 to 20 times for posting things like...

Yet some of you mods find it acceptable that these gamers go around talking to a lot of others this way. In spite of how I look at this game or how I post about Bungie, No one should be allowed to be above the rules and this means if anyone reports someone for calling them a piece of... etc... [b](that means it is your responsibility as a monetary to discipline them for being abusive.)[b]
Yes, I post about negative things about this company. I have no shame in doing so because I also know that within what I post there is the positive side of thing when chatting with certain gamers that don't just look at one side of things.[/spoiler]
Whoever is in charge of the monitors? This needs to stop and because it's not stopping you guys have literally allowed certain gamers to verbally abuse other gamers like this one that has been doing to me this last 2 months, and I have reported him numerous times using vulgar words attacking me on this forum. This has been going on for the last couple of years with certain gamers and some of your monitors have done nothing about it. You guys say follow the rules but when some of your monitors are not, how is that fair to the community and how does that help this forum? Now, you might say there is a lot of gamers, etc.. to get to, but every time I used a none disrespect word that literally does not break the CoC like BooBoo within 5 min I get a ban. How is that possible (unless someone is in direct contact with a mod?) this personal issue some of you mods have with gamers on this forum needs to be removed from this forum period.

Edit: One more thing, when I report someone for calling me a PO... how is it right for a mod to look for something I said months ago that isn't breaking the CoC to ban me for reporting someone calling me a PO...?

I was joking around and said I was 13. This account was banned for 3 years in act with the CoC. I messaged multiple Ninjas and worked all the way to cosmo. He answered me once after 5 months of messaging saying that he couldn’t do anything about it. I was forced to wait. Worst part was that I was obviously joking. The conversation went, “you must be 12.” Then I said, “No i’m 13.” The audacity. Ninja justice has been served.

I'd really like to know how that word brakes the CoC knowing how when I posted it it was used in a proper matter. It wasn't an insult, it wasn't me being rude or anything like that, but that word is ban worthy now? If your mods are not following the rules how can they expect others to?

Yet, it kind of is cause bungie made a gay "pride" pin.. Well, shit, I want a straight pride pin too damnit. What are those colors? That's why I hate companies, bungie is one of them. Even though I like their game, sometimes. But they need to learn to be fair. From game design, to the forum, to the stuff they sale. You can't promote one thing and then ban the opposite of that thing cause you say so. Jackasses.

I think generally the mod guidelines on this forum are too strict (and they're just following those guidelines) ... But people have proven they can't have constructive disagreements so I totally agree with this stance. Take naming and shaming for example. In an ideal world people [i]would[/i] be able to call out cheaters, [b]provided they give sufficient evidence[/b]. However, most people on this forum can't tell a cheater from a good player or just choose to yell at the screen instead of linking a game history or something like that.

2 Respuestaslast time I was here there were a lot more subforums, like for crucible etc I come in last week and am like, where is the forum? seems clear they limited the number to keep any threads from catching fire. the trending tab doesnt track whats trending. the new tab is constantly scrolling. i have no idea what the rating tab is for since the stuff at the top of the list, like trending, usually has very poor rating.

4 RespuestasI would expect to see this post be moved to the companion app section. This post does bring up some serious problems with the forums current moderation. It is going the way of Reddit where the mods turn the forum into an echo chamber of users they like and posts they agree with. That said you can’t paint them all with the same brush of course and some ninjas who are very helpful and friendly and are just trying to remove the truly horrible posts.

They were nothing about destiny 2 and were only causing hateful messages. While that may not have been the intentions of the posters, that’s what happened and the comments were really disgusting (on both sides it wasn’t just straight/religious people, it was lgbt people as well). Toxic posts and trolls should be moderated, not criticism or discussion over relevant issues about the game. Anyways enough ranting, I’ve never had a problem with you Odin so I have no reason to doubt you and this was a very well written post.

It went away one day. When i asked a ninja what happened he said i was never banned, which simply wasn't true because i got the error message saying exactly that.

1 RespuestaUnfortunately it is the same everywhere. Mods of Sony, EA, Warframe, Ubisoft, etc. as well get on a power trip and ban left and right. I have been banned here multiple times for months just for discussions and mild disagreements, even though I never cuss and censor myself when I do. They also give a vague generic reasoning relating to an incomprehensible policy and that’s it. No appeal or anything. They’re right you’re wrong. End of story. 99% of bans are pure bullshit. One reason is that it is very rare for someone to actually potentially deserve a ban, such as by spamming multiple incomprehensible posts, typing a very long post [i][b][u]solely[/u][/b][/i] consisting of cussing someone, or making a number of realistic sounding death threats. Thus they go after very mild aggressors or anyone who does not worship Bungie in every post of his. Interestingly, the ones who usually do commit ban-worthy offences are the delusional Bungie fanboys themselves, as they frequently cuss at critics, bully them into leaving the forums, and even telling them to kill themselves or get cancers. However, these truly toxic kids are always left alone by mods because they are sucking up their scummy overlords.

2 RespuestasWhen I was new to this I furum I asked a question then a Mod PM explaining me how things go. I was a bit confuse as I'm french canadian and english is not my strong suit. He proceed bashing me "because he was tired of explaining the same thing over and over to a lot of people". We then PM each other and It was done and deal with. But it shows that Not everyone is made to be a moderator.

1 RespuestaBeen on this forum for a long time, and if I remember correctly, we have had a few times where we disagree about something. I have never considered anything you have said, to be offensive. I have seen many posts where things said against you, are offensive, and it never seems to be that those things are taken down or locked. I have no answer for you, as Bungie has the final word on pretty much everything on here. Just hope it does not stop you from commenting in the future.
