This one’s for my good friend SorrowW0lf, who asked me in a round about way to make another post about removing cores from infusion.
Being the good friend I am, I was happy to oblige.

13 RespuestasCores are super easy to get now. Doing the 3 bounties each day on all 3 characters takes max 30 mins. You get 9 cores and 18 mod components. So long as you don't infuse every bit of gear you get that is ok and pick what you want you won't run out. Not to mention once at max light every 2 days you can masterwork another weapon. In one month of playing you can have a character with 2 full sets of masterwork armour and 10 masterworked weapons. There is basically no problems with cores now. (Not to mention cores you get from spider or from dismantling random gear you get). Put simply don't infuse everything, just think what gear you actually use and you will be fine.

5 RespuestasEditado por Ramirenzo: 6/23/2019 10:47:21 AMThe cores are just a symptom of the larger problem with Destiny 2 ever since forsaken dropped. They've curtailed development for the game to one big expansion per year plus some smaller content drops, instead of the 3 expansions we used to get. This means they need to drag the grind out in order to make that content last. This is why we now have cores limiting infusion/masterworking, a huge increase in time gated content and multiple sources of smaller drip fed upgrades given at random for more time investment, many of which are gated behind the annual pass. They've lowered the overall amount of development work they need to do, they've kept their income fairly steady with the more expensive expansion cost, the annual pass and the huge increase in eververse gated content, but I'd wager that they've massively increased player burnout, but that doesn't really matter, since they aren't relying on huge numbers of people returning to spend because they already bought the annual pass at the start of the year. All they need to do is lure players back in with a flashy trailer and some new features and repeat the cycle all over again. It's only been one year, but I've never been so disengaged with destiny outside of the first few months post-expansion, I tried returning a little yesterday, and they dumped a whole lot of 690 gear on me that I couldn't infuse due to the cores and materials needed, it instantly reminded me of why I got burned out in the first place and I shut the PS4 down to play something else.

7 RespuestasI'm just waiting for someone to actually give a reason why cores improve infusion. All infusion is, is just keeping your favorite gear at your level. You already went through the work of getting gear that level, so what's with this requirement when it clearly worked better before?
-
3 RespuestasIf you are struggling on cores, you are being basically lazy or just ignoring the new sources of cores. Gunsmith bounties are so fast... they are just D1 bounties that we did years ago almost on a daily basis. The rate you get a core from a random dismantle is pretty good. You get 2 cheap ones from Spider everyday. If you really need more cores than you can do his bounties. Then in a few weeks your clans will hit the rank where each week you get +7 cores for clan exp which means 21 if you do it on all characters. Just play the game and don't worry about infusing items every +1 or +2.

24 RespuestasI hate the core infusion requirement and I hate that fact that there are those that defend it. It’s a terrible part of the game that requires you to spend unnecessary amount of time to grind for them. On top of the grinding required to get actual gear and weapons.

1 RespuestaCores for infusion is a shit idea, scrap it.

2 Respuestasit is more worster with them l played three days before yesterday and ain’t used no gear I like

1 Respuestaplease remove cores from INFUSION.

3 RespuestasYes, having played the new season I can verify that enhancement cores still need to be removed from infusion cost.

-
3 RespuestasBungie fixed the enhancement core problem by taking away all of our glimmer.
-
3 RespuestasLiterally planetary materials are a bigger problem than cores now. The real kicker is Masterwork costs.

Editado por SouLFeeS: 6/24/2019 5:18:00 PMDisregard. Retracted statement

its really simple. if I do something that levels me up, it should also give me the resources I need to infuse.

23 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow-cali: 6/22/2019 3:01:13 PMThe cores shouldn't have ever been part of the infusion. All Bungie has done since the infusion has been changed is creating an illusion most fell for. Hey, we added more ways to acquire them but pay no attention to the trade-off that didn't improve anything. Why don't some people pay attention to the game they play? Just because Bungie added more ways to acquire them, raising the cost to Masterwork or anything else did not benefit this game one bit. Now they're doing the same thing removing the chance to get bright dust by dismantling items you collect from Tess. I guess some people don't mind being toyed with and easily fooled that things are "improving".

1 RespuestaEditado por R1CHEE: 6/23/2019 9:28:00 PMAgreed. No-one has ever bought the game because infusion cores are required. But the requirement is a contributing factor to players leaving.

22 RespuestasEditado por VindictiveAdept: 6/22/2019 2:59:55 PMtHeY eXtEnD gAmEpLaY!!!! Honestly -blam!- you if you think cores are good for the game because it would be so nice to use some exotic armor while leveling but no let’s go collect some stupid orange rock.

5 RespuestasSimple rules I have to save cores: 1. Unless it is 10 power levels above your current gear don’t infuse 2. Unless power level is an absolute necessity infusion can wait 3. Use weapons that appear in prime engrams or menagerie (straight 5k glimmer no cores no shards required) 4. If you don’t like it delete it (4+ mw weapons and 3+ mw gear award cores) Simple yet easy things to do save resources
-
6 RespuestasI do not get this at all. I do literally nothing special to get cores and I always have a few dozen lying around. My secret? I just don't infuse everything all the time.

Take em out Add new noninvasive things for cores Problems solved.
