No, if we are getting dust from bounties instead, then it just makes engrams more of a pain then buying what we want

The engrams are year 1 now.... I'm struggling to understand why you'd want them removed....

In the next season, when I am no longer able to break down what I don't need or want for dust, then engrams are no longer necessary

Not entirely. We get those throughout the game and they aren't really tied to cosmetics.
